Haxotic
I was playing Tekkit and my client quickly shut off. When I reloaded the game a couple hours later my world was not in the selection list. The world file is still in the folder in %Appdata% but not in the client. Any fixes or ideas? Thank you!
TonyVS
sounds like karma from a rage quit.... you could try and create a new world with the same conditions (different name) and then copy the all the files into the new directory Haxotic

TonyVS
you said The world file is still in the folder in %Appdata% but not in the client so you already know what files. what part are you missing exactly?
Haxotic
That when the files are swapped the only difference will be the name of the world folder. I don't see that helping anything but I'll give it a shot, thanks!

Well it worked. I don't know how that worked, but it worked. Voodoo magic I'd say. Everything was restored but my inventory, thanks!
TonyVS
hehe voodoo magic like how christians believe the world is only 6000 years old. you created a new reference link to a saved game which is contained in a file outside of that folder. the game doesn't care what files are in there only that certain conditions are met, like whether or not it is survival, if you have cheats on, or if it is flat etc.
