Renn Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 So everytime I go onto the Technic launcher, go to Attack of the B-Team and click play. It starts the loading and eventually it works, and disappears, but then nothing else comes up and the technic launcher just comes up again. I looked at a video on how to install and I did everything right but after the mod loads, the technic launcher goes away (like what the tutorial said) but then the technic launcher comes up again instead of the modded minecraft (unlike what the tutorial said). Please any help would be huge, I really want to play and am getting kind of frustrated. Thanks. MintyKrystalline 1 Quote
MintyKrystalline Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 The same exact thing happens to me! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well and nothing changed which leads me to think that no one can get in and that it's bugged for everyone since no one else has said theirs is working. Quote
Loader Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 It's working fine for lots of people Minty, people have been on here talking about how to do things for days (it's rare on any forum for any game that you'll find a post that says "Hey guys, it's working fine. Just posting to say so. Thanks.") Renn, it's probably Java not being the correct version if it's worked before (remove 1.6 and install 1.7) but failing that get the logs and post onto the bug tracker so we can help (links are in my sig that should help with that). Loader Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Try these ancient internet wizard techniques, they should help you (please forgive the sarcasm, but I can't think of a simpler way to explain it and I find it entertaining). Abra Cadabra! Alakazam! Quote

Abra Cadabra! Alakazam! Ok, so I tried the first website because the second one is for later macs which I do not have. So I looked and it is kind of confusing and also it doesn't say my mac even has java, which is impossible. God I hate this, its just frustrating for me because I don't think many other people are experiencing this as well. Thanks for all the help though. Quote
Loader Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 This site didn't help? http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/uninstall-or-disable-java-on-a-mac What version of MacOS do you have? If you're on Snow Leopard or older (10.6 or lower) then you won't be able to install Java 7 in any easy way, Apple doesn't support it. Quote
Renn Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 No I'm on 1.6, I'm a little confused on why it's not working and what I'm supposed to do. I have a feeling it might just be a glitch because everything seems to work, it just doesn't actually open up the mod. Quote

My server was running 1.6 and i kept getting errors. When i updated it to 1.7 everything worked like a dream! Quote

Loader Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Abaga means updating to Java 1.7, something you can't do easily on that version of MacOS, I'm afraid. Your best bet is to see if your computer can do the upgrade to OSX Mavericks (it's free, but your computer needs to be powerful enough). Quote
