Okay so I guess no one's touched on this yet,

Question

For anyone else who updated to the 1.2.5 version of tekkit, has anyone noticed the weird computers that don't seem to relate to computercraft whatsoever?

Any idea what these flipping things are and they they've been added in place of ComputerCraft when it doesn't work? o_O

They're a part of RedPower, if my sources (memory) are correct.

ComputerCraft presumably isn't in the Tekkit 1.2.5 dev build because there's no 1.2.5 version of ComputerCraft at the moment.

That would probably explain why the "central processing unit" block has the word "red" on it... >.> That should be interesting once figured out how it works. You can't input anything into it unless its just binary on the CPU block so that should be fun.

Check out Direwolf20's video on it.

ComputerCraft and Redpower computers are completely different and will work side-by-side nicely. One uses Forth and the other uses Lua; One is emulated and the other is interpreted. Personally, I'm about to drown in my own damn drool.

There is a 1.2.5 version of Computercraft... Why its not in the pack yet is beyond my understanding but it may be due to compatibility problems that need to be corrected before.

What I want to know is if they are going to add some IC2 addons.

Or maybe it's not in yet because it's a dev build, and still under construction? That would seem like a pretty obvious reason...
