Jammy1234 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Just created a custom modpack server and got this error https://www.dropbox.com/s/44xn5db3klt5eb7/ForgeModLoader-server-0.log
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 29, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 29, 2014 There is insufficient information in that log to provide much help. We will need a link to your pack page and/or download URL. A server pack download will help even more. Notes: DamageIndicatorsMod is a client only mod and should be removed from your server. Side Notes: I've never seen anyone add in CoFHCore and Redstone Arsenal without Thermal Expansion I highly recommend updated some of your outdated/buggy mod versions (i.e. ProjectRed, ForgeMultipart, etc.)

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 29, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 29, 2014 You have an outdated version of Forge as your modpack.jar. Upgrade to #965. You have an extraneous file in your coremods folder. Forge/MC 1.6.4 does not use a coremods folder. Remove this folder and its contents. You should be including the latest recommended version of ForgeMultipart (Build #250) in your mods1.6.4 folder. You need to be including the config folder and all of the config files for your mods. Right now you just have one file in there. This is "bad".
Jammy1234 Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Can i have a link to the Forge #965 and the ForgeMultipart #250 because i can not find them thank you
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 29, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 29, 2014 Forge Multipart: Google search for "forge multipart" and it's the first link Minecraft Forge: Google search for "minecraft forge" and it's the first link
Jammy1234 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 for forge multipart there is only 1.7.2 versions
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 30, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Well, when I posted it there was. However, there is a giant link that says "For legacy builds click here"
Jammy1234 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 https://www.dropbox.com/s/44xn5db3klt5eb7/ForgeModLoader-server-0.log
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 30, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 This looks odd. You should never have this file named this way anywhere in your pack: 2014-04-30 16:36:22 [FINE] [ForgeModLoader] Examining for coremod candidacy ForgeMultipart-universal-1.6.4-1.0.0.250.jar I'm seeing some really weird stuff in that log. I think we'll need to have an archive of your server before continuing.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 30, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 Simply make a zip file with your config and mods folders and put it somewhere I can download it. Additionally, it would be extremely helpful to have a link to your technic pack page.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 30, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted April 30, 2014 I'm going to assume your "Configs and Mods" is your server stuff: Remove DamageIndicators You need to manually install the most recent recommended version of ForgeMultipart in both client and server. The client is auto-downloading a different one than the server is. Client modpack: You should seriously consider updating ProjectRed You have no config files (except one) in your client modpack config folder. You MUST sync up your configs between client and server.
Jammy1234 Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 (edited) Is there a different download for forge multipart server side if so could i have a link Edited May 1, 2014 by Jammy1234
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 1, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Yes, the very first hit from a Google search for "forge multipart" yields this: http://files.minecraftforge.net/ForgeMultipart/index_legacy.html

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 2, 2014 Okay, nothing wrong with that log. Did you have a question/problem?

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 2, 2014 Assuming you are using MCPC+, get the latest version (new build as of today has a fix so it will get the correct libraries. Build 253) and try again. I don't know where the hangup is at this point. This was my process with your current (v5) pack: Add client pack and launch Copy mods and config (now with config files in it) to server folder Remove DamageIndicators from server mods Copy in MCPC+ b253 and launch Launch server Log into server with client.
