Johnnii360
Hi there! We're using the latest version of the AotBT server (1.0.12a). Since the update from 1.0.10b to 1.0.12a the planter and harvester doesn't run correctly anymore. After a longer term they stop working - they stop ticking. So I must reset the malfunctioning planter's and harvester's so they will work awhile.
antikas
Same here, since the upgrade-- seems to be affecting all the MFR machines though, not just the planter/harvester.
Kalbintion
If the machine is receiving a redstone signal, it will cease to function. If the machine also has no output to go it, it will cease to function.
antikas
Yeah, that's normal behaviour for MFR. This randomly affects machines after a certain amount of time, regardless of any redstone signals or outputs. This impacted all my MFR systems. It's not (as far as I can tell) normal behaviour for MFR. Popping the machines with a crescent wrench, and replacing them gets them going again (for a little while at least) but inevitably they will stall again. I am hoping this is just user error, I just can't figure out what could be causing it. Only happened after updating to 1.0.12a. EAS
Its a bug, most times it caused by bugged energy reading after unloading the world(like going another dimensions), my fix? make a block placer and remover system(like autonomous activator unwrenching the machine or the cable next to it, then vacum hopper pics it and block placer places it back)
antikas
Ahh, so having my main base in the tropicraft realm is probably part of this issue. Darn lol. Do you think a chunk loader might be a viable solution?
Kalbintion
If what EAS is said to be true, a chunk loader could help the issue.
EAS
If what EAS is said to be true, a chunk loader could help the issue. Yea it should, need to try it out, also it happens in crack pack with the mfr machines, i assume one of the updated mods corrupt the energy conduit
antikas
Yeah, that's what I was thinking too... chunkloader. I'm going to have to get through Witchery first to make the poppit shelf lol. As an aside, a server reboot resets all the machines and they work normally.
Kalbintion
The old vanilla hopper chunk loader still works and should be just fine for this type of chunk loader necessary (it'll be less strenuous on the server too since it won't include entity processing) Also, it appears this issue occurs when someone enters another dimension in the crackpack as well as agrarian skies which run similar mods and mod versions. My thoughts are on MFR at this time for failing to have the machine re-check nearby locations when they become unloaded/loaded in a very particular way.
