kennaah
I have been watching some videos and have seen some blocks that don't spawn in my world. I have found them in NEI but not in the world. An example is marble. Does anybody now how i can "activate" these blocks?
Kezr
The marble blocks should spawn by default. They are not super common though, and it is possible that they only spawn in certain biomes. As far as I know there's not a great deal of blocks disabled by default, but if you want to fiddle with such things you should look at the config files. They can be found in [Tekkit install folder]modpackstekkitmainconfig
Curunir
An example for a biome limitation would be Emerald. This vanilla Minecraft block (not to be confused with old RedPower's Emerald, which is Peridot now in ProjectRed) spawns exclusively deep down under Extreme Hills biomes. ProjectRed's Marble blocks are not too common in world generation, but do spawn in large quantities at a few points. I remember finding one deposit under a volcano, and another under a simple grass plains biome. The quickest way to find some is quarrying around. I have been quarrying like crazy but perhaps not enough
Curunir
Spelunking may actually be quicker than randomly quarrying. I recall finding most Marble around abandoned Mineshafts. If I wanted to mine it, I'd probably scout the shafts until I found a repository, then quarry the whole place. Keep in mind that Marble is generated only rarely, but if it does, there are usually hundreds, even thousands of blocks in one place. EvilOwl
Marble generation is strictly linked to caverns and caves. Every time I found some marble in a cave (the fastest way) and started mining down I found a bigger cave or a cavern. Marble appears to be common in cavern/big cave ceiling. kennaah
Thanks for the help guys. I decided to start a new world and now all of the project red blocks are appearing, well almost all still haven't found marble. But it seems that in my old world the project red blocks acted strange.
