Ultra Modded Survival issue

I have no sound with the UMS modpack I downloaded from this site. All I hear is the wind blowing the whole time but nothing else. I have sound enabled in-game and on the computer. I've been playing hexxit for some time now and its sound is as it should be.

I doubt my computer specs are the problem as the game itself doesn't lag.

Problems with custom modpacks made by players need to be directed to the pack authors. We are not able to change anything in custom packs which renders any assistance we might provide quite neutered.

I've found a possible solution which includes copying sound files from another modpack. I have hexxit so I could copy from there but I'm unsure of what exactly to copy. Does anyone have an idea?

When ever I try to open the modpack on the launcher it dosent work and sends me back to the launcher. (I have 3 gb of data on it)

@PlatnuimZack: Don't hijack someone else's thread. Start a new one. However, you've provided no crash-report, modpack info, context for the crash or any other details. If you are using someone else's pack you need to contact them for problems.
