Repairing Advanced Genetics bow?

Hay all,

 

Dumb question: how on earth do you repair the bow from Advanced Genetics?

 

Follow up question if the answer is "you can't": Is there a way to get the Infinity enchant on the Tinkers Construct bow?

The only way to fix a genetic bow to my understanding is to place it with another damaged one.

And no, I do not believe you can get infinity on a TC Bow,

TC arrows with cactus heads, paper shafts and feather fletchings are really cheap and do nearly as much damage as the heaviest arrows while having much better flight characteristics (they fly in a shallower arc much further and faster than an ordinary arrow), it's worth giving those a go unless you go through a ridiculous amount of arrows.

No infinity enchant, if you want to go a cheating route though, you can always have NEI give you an infinite stack of arrows, though you'll be severely limited to the pre-made arrows of all one material type.
