RE: Quarry doesn't work on SMP (tekkit)

Version of Java: Java 6

Description of Problem: Quarry does not build frame, i got frame working at one point but then the crane stopped working so i destroyed it and tried again but this did not work and now the frame wont build.

Error Messages: No messages

Are you using Towny or something of the sort? Quarries won't work in protected areas like that.

its because you have build rights for that rea, so say you are using worlguard and have the area protected, the quarry has no permission to build or alter the land there. i really hope they add some sort of fix for this.

The fix is to allow the user [buildCraft] to build in the protected area.

One way to do this is to use group permissions, setting [industrialCraft],[buildCraft], and [RedPower] into a special "Entities" group, and giving that group permission to build.

Iv opped [buildcraft] but it must be factions, I will remove it and test it out!

do not OP buildcraft. if you do it can break blocks anywhere making it possible to build a quarry around someones protected house and harvest the entire thing

if you are using worldguard just add [buildcraft] to the selected region of choice :D
