Turning mods on/off?

I'm rather new to Tekkit, and I'm wondering how to turn some of the mods on and off.

funny thing i just answered that question in a different tread

when you select the mod pack your using in the technic launcher

click the little "mods" button near the login area ( bottom right )

it will open a text file that lists the mods you can turn off

just change

x_mod_name = on

to

x_mod_name = off

Oh, sorry I wasn't specific enough. I meant how I can turn some off server-side. Thanks!

Go into the modloader.cfg file and turn them off by changing on to off
