Question

Posted

I have a problem setting up an MFE and MFSU to output power to my machines.

I built an MFSU (same thing when I tried an MFE) which has power running to it through solar panels, wind turbines, and a nuclear reactor. The power comes in fine, but when I connect the output (I am 100% positive that I'm connecting it at the output) to a LV-Transformer it doesn't provide any power to my machines.

When I connect the MFSU directly to my Quarry it runs fine; but, obviously, when I connect it directly to my other machines it blows them up.

I set it up like this:

} - Being the output side which you change with a wrench

[Power source]---[MFSU}---[LV-Transformer}---[Machine] <--- Not working.

Am I being an idiot?

i thought your supposed to use the LV transformer when feeding regular machines from an MFE

ontopic

you better make this topic into a trolling duplicate of a typical bug report and hope you don't get probated for posting something this stupid in the BUG REPORT section

I did try to use it to feed my machines from the both MFE and the MFSU, but neither worked. Am I supposed to use a MV Transformer and then a LV transformer?

You're not helping...

ok, first up the unique side on a transformer is the input, not the output. That's the only reason your LV transformer isn't exploding when you put an MFSU direct into it :).

MFE -> LV -> Machine is fine or MFSU -> MV -> LV ->Machines but the transformers only work when hooked up right. A transformer has 1 input and 5 outputs.

Can you guys help me? I still have the problem and I don't understand the instructions just given. I am using an MFSU with glass fibre cases to connect to a HV transformer and some machines.
