Kalbintion Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Well, it seems like copy.com isnt lettting me attempt to download and its timing out before I could finish downloading it and its saying it failed and contact modpack author - my internet speed isnt the worst but it shouldnt take 4h to download that size of file from other source, its almost like copy is slowing down the connection and timing it out after a certain period of time. I'm not sure what I can suggest for this, maybe wait for plow to check in this thread at some point.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted September 1, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted September 1, 2014 Your modpack archive has a ".rar" extension instead of a ".zip" extension. The contents of your modpack archive are in a subfolder. The required folders (bin, config, mods) need to be at the top level of the folder structure inside the archive file. Your binmodpack.jar is named "modpack.jar.jar". Notice the extra ".jar". Google "windows always show file extensions" to learn how to prevent this issue. Fix these issues and come back if you are still having problems. Kalbintion 1
_Clannad Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 It works now i just cant get essentials to work or shovel or warps.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted September 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted September 2, 2014 Bukkit plugins are only for use on a server which implements the Bukkit API. CraftBukkit for vanilla servers or Cauldron for Forge servers.
Kalbintion Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Plugins belong in the plugins folder for cauldron, the folder is made when the server is ran. Plugins in the mods folder wont work at all.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted September 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted September 2, 2014 There is no folder named "cauldron". Cauldron should be installed to a folder for your server. The Cauldron website had details in the wiki concerning installation: http://cauldron.minecraftforge.net/
