Tekkit lite server 0.6.5 won't install plugins

I've got mcpc+ I tried to install WorldEdit and it wont install it is the only mod I tried to install and I really need it

MCPC+ is now known as Cauldron. And those are not mods, they go into the plugins folder and not the mods folder.

Did you start the server using the cauldron's jar file or edit the respective batch (.bat) file to use the cauldron file?

I don't have a  cauldron file or jar, I just restarted the server like 100 times and WorldEdit suddenly worked. But in the future how do i get other plugins to work like shops ect?

When you installed Cauldron, you should have been given a jar file (along with some library files) with the name "cauldron" in the file name. Running the server from the batch, Tekkit.jar or minecraft_server.jar should never load plugins (and in the case of the minecraft_server jar - cause it to run with no mods since itd be vanilla) - all other plugins though are installed the same way - into the plugins folder. Some plugins may have slightly different instructions but those would be on the respective plugin page.
