Triple_T
Alright so I'm running tekkit 2.1.1 off of my Windows Xp 32-bit machine and upon installing and running the game I notice there is literally no sound, no vanilla sounds, no ambience, nothing. Vanilla Minecraft's audio functions fine and no problems whatsoever there. And on my Windows 7 64-bit machine it runs perfectly. But I've looked everywhere and I can't seem to find a fix for this particular problem with tekkit 2.1.1. Please Help Thanks
jakj
No mod of any kind is producing audio, including IC2 and RP? Post your launcher log so we can see if there are any non-fatal audio-related exceptions being thrown. All vanilla sound is working? Monsters' ambient sounds and hit noises, block placing, UI clicking, fire burning...
ErusPrime
are there any files in the resources folder?
Triple_T
Only folders in the resource folder is as follows: mod, music, newmusic, newsound, pe, sound, and streaming And here's the launcher log http://pastebin.com/DHfAhMKZ Thanks!
jakj
Looks like mod sounds aren't getting loaded because of lack of memory. How much RAM do you have allocated to the game in the launcher, and how much does your system have in it?
Triple_T
I got 3gb's of RAM and only 1gb is allocated for the game, or so it says in the launcher Is that all that's possibly wrong? We've reinstalled it several times
