tdKdC4 Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 Hi, I have problems connecting to a Tekkit server. I've played in that server for a while and now i can't log in there anymore. First when i try to connect to the server it says Logging in, then downloading terrain and then when after 5 minutes it connects to the server and crashes my game. Can anyone help, it's only for that server and no other players have that problem. Also i've reinstalled tekkit twice and still the same problem. Can anyone help or have the same problem? It says logging in then dirt screen then logging in again and then the dirt/brown screen again then white screen or my Tekkit crashes. Are there any chunkloading blocks and machines / cobblestone generators / IC2 wiring looping back on itself there? What version of java do you have installed? and on top of that can you double check you are using the recommended build not development build in the launcher? Same questions to you Poofy.. Just because you are crashing in a similar way doesn't mean it's for remotely the same reason. Both of you really need to post using the format. It's not being picky but helps ppl work out what's going wrong. If I start posting every possible cause of you crashing in that manner you'll get a headache from the wall of text. Poofy_the_hero Posted May 13, 2012 Share Posted May 13, 2012 I have updated java I've deleted all the Tekkit's from my computer I did everything you asked and double checked it and everyone else can get in to Tekkit. Specific Almond Posted May 13, 2012 Share Posted May 13, 2012 Im gonna go out on a limb and say that if you download it repeatedly it won't fix itself. My guess is you are playing on the dev build of Tekkit. When the update window popped up did you say yes? if so then you shouldn't have. Make sure you are running the rec build.
