Server wont start

[HHxVortex]

I think I know the problem, is any of these listed mods that are only client side mods? and wont work on the server so I have to removed it?

• Your client pack's bin folder should not contain the minecraft.jar file.

Client Only Mods:

• Dynamic Lights
• ReiMinimap
• TiCTooltips

Removing the client only mods allowed me to start a server and connect with your client.

Ok thanks plowmanplow, about the Minecraft.jar part, and it was a diffrent reason why the server woulnt start but i fixed it some how and still abit confused about it tbh, but thank you you always a great help

If you follow this process:

 

everything should work fine. Just make sure you remove the client only mods, but that is the exact process I used to make the server that worked on my system.

One problem i found out that one of the mods stop the use of normal minecraft tools, and says in red writing under each one, that it cant be used for anything only crafting? I had alook in the tinkers construck config and some others but i cant find which mod is doing it? is they anyway to find out? or do you know what mod it is and how to allow it to use normal minecraft pickaxes etc?

Looked at the mod list you originally posted, sounds like iguana tweaks is the one responsible for that as it is intended to do things such as that. Iguana tweaks was designed to make progression through TCon more reasonable and less "oh im already at end tier, why bother with anything else"

Ok everything works, but for some reason, the server makes me and my mate lose connection and it will crash out client? we will be playing then it will crash us. I have a little server log, and i have a full sized client side crash report to try and help.
