Britin Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 I use the Tekkit multiplayer pack in singleplayer, because I don't like the other mods that come with Technicpack/Yogbox. I've gotten used to the basics and created some stuff, and want to know if I can use my SSP world on my SMP (local) server? If so, how would I go about it? Would I lose my waypoints? I'd like to spawn at my house, where my current spawn etc is, too. and to the creators: Love this. So much fun and brought minecraft back to life for me. Quote
freakachu Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 technically, yes you should be able to use the world in SMP, since you've been using tekkit. chances are decent that you may lose your waypoints. I have no idea if you would spawn in the same place or not. Quote
RebelNode Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 You won't spawn in same place unless you edit some of the world files in ways that are harder than /tppos. Also your inventory will not transfer over for the same reason. Quote
RedStoner Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Your map will load fine. Just empty your inventory into a chest, and take note of your coordinates. When you load it up into the server you will be at spawn like you just joined the world for the first time. Quote
