Macerator to Electric Furnace?

Hello!

I've been trying to wire up some macerators so that they get gold/iron/whatever from a quary, then continues through a pipe to an electric furnace. But when it gets there the dust just stays in the "already smelted" ore slot and doesn't smelt.

Is this a bug or is there any way to make it work properly?

You'll also need some way to remove the ingots because the different types won't mix. For example, if copper ingots are in the completed slot the furnace won't smelt iron dust.
