Acer Aspire 7750

Windows 7 Home Premium

Intel Core i3-2350M CPU @2,30GHZ

64Bit Operating System

Intel HD Graphics 3000

8GB DDR3 Memory

No Texture Packs

Just Vanilla Minecraft, ergo, Technic Pack lags too

This is what i have tried over the last weeks, found here, and all over the web, and no improvement :

All possible Java Versions

.bat files

Tweaking Ingame Settings(render Distance Short etc..)

Set My Laptop To Best Performance In advanced System Settings

Using Classic Windows Theme

No Background Programs running

Got Avast Antivirus

Allocated all Types of ram

Set Java To High Priority in Taskmanager

Playing Offline

And Believe me, I cross-tried all possibilities

Since My Minecraft is working better on my other Pc which is a 6 year old Windows XP, 1GB ram but with nVidia Graphics, Im starting to wonder if my Laptops Graphicscard is the problem, or just some other Setting or hardware component.

Again, Vanilla Minecraft or modded, the lag is basically the same : It loads the world very fast, even on render distance far, then it drops in the next 30 seconds to 20FPS, sooner or later to 10FPS.

It never crashes.

Any Help Appreciated

Thanks Erus,

so this means theres no point trying, or are there any settings I can change?

Thanks also miniboxer, it might help with the vanilla, but i dont really play vanilla. Technic pack has optifine, doesnt help

Im pointing out that my vanilla MC lags exactly like a modded version because i suspect a hardware incompatibility from my laptop, which seems to be the case as Erus pointed out

Many thanks

First off, turn off fancy, turn render distance to normal, turn off millenaire and better dungeons, disable mob spawners in the item subsets of NEI, turn on advanced open GL, turn on dynamic chunks.

If that doesn't help, you need a new card in your laptop.

Tried all that.

Just found some info about how i have a customized graphicscard and that i cant update to a newer driver for some reason, so, gonna take it to the shop.

Maybe this should be pointed out in the common Problems, then again, the problem doesnt really seem to be common....

I Appreciate it guys!

The problem here is your intel HD graphics.

lol, I noticed that but didn't want to mention it,considering some people get up in arms when you say their machine is underpowered.

Well, just found out the guys that work at the shop where i bought my laptop know jackshit about pcs...tells me to contact acer..

I get what u mean miniboxer.after your first reply I was going to mention that i dont see why i should bother playing on anything less than high settings, then i thought, why so saddistic!?

Thanks for the try freakachu, but sadly that doesnt seem to be the problem.

I guess no Technic pack for me, in a few months ill need a new desktop pc, so i ll know not to get a Intel HD3000.

yeah if the optifine thing isn't the issue, you're pretty much stuck. integrated graphics just aren't up to par with discreet cards. that is changing somewhat with ivybridge and all that, but you still need a card to play real games. and if it is a laptop, you will probably not be able to install a real video card in it, unfortunately.
