ProjectRicken Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 I'm rather new to Tekkit and don't have an immense amount of knowledge when it comes to hosting a server, but I've encountered a problem. For some reason the OPs on my server cannot right click machines. Everyone else is able to fine, and when I change myself to a non-OP it works.. but this is really confusing me. I'm sure it's an easy fix, but I'm not quite sure where to look. Could anyone help me out?
Yuriy Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Are you running any additional plugins or have your server set up a certain way? I do not have this problem as an OP and you haven't provided sufficient information for most to help you unless this issue has a common solution which would already be posted somewhere on the forum.
Gristle Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Have you attempted to implement permissions is any way?
ProjectRicken Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 I am running all of the basic mods and plugins that come with Tekkit (though I disabled EE). The only additional plugin I am running is the Autosneak plugin made by manniL. However I seem to getting an opposite issue with that where ONLY the OPs can use it. Aside from that I have done no real editing to the basics since this is my first time running Tekkit and I didn't want to mess anything up. These are the only issues, and they are so minor that it's frustrating. Lol. As for Permissions, like I said I do not know all that much about hosting a server. I'm still just learning. My permissions.yml seems to be empty though, if that's what you mean. If you'd like specific details I try to supply them, I'd just really like to get this inconvenience fixed. EDIT: I've noticed that the console is saying that Command Book is failing. 16:39:55 [sEVERE] Could not load 'plugins\CommandBook.jar' in folder 'plugins': java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sk89q/minecraft/util/commands/CommandExcepti on at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.forName(Unknown Source) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.JavaPluginLoader.loadPlugin(JavaPluginLoader.j ava:131) at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.loadPlugin(SimplePluginManager. java:286) at org.bukkit.plugin.SimplePluginManager.loadPlugins(SimplePluginManager .java:201) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.CraftServer.loadPlugins(CraftServer.java:165) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.CraftServer.<init>(CraftServer.java:141) at net.minecraft.server.ServerConfigurationManager.<init>(ServerConfigur ationManager.java:52) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:151) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.sk89q.minecraft.util.commands.C ommandException at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.PluginClassLoader.findClass(PluginClassLoader. java:41) at org.bukkit.plugin.java.PluginClassLoader.findClass(PluginClassLoader. java:29) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) ... 11 more Is it possible that this is the cause?
Yuriy Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Anyone? Don't make posts just to bump your stuff, you'll get lit up for it. I got nothing yet. Try keeping your main config files (only the ones you modified) and re-installing the server while you wait; that may reset command book. Make sure you back-up the whole server prior to that.
