cannot connect to my own server using hamachi or otherwise.

hello i have a problem. im using technic pack to try and make a multiplayer server for me and 5 other friends. As i was setting it up i realized i cannot connect to my own server all it says is "connection lost end of stream". i have looked online and all the tips have not helped me yet i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong but i thank you for any help.

If you are hosting it on your own computer, don't put the external IP into the field, type localhost instead

no good still doesint let me connect im getting a serise of severe warnings about net.minecraft.server.packet.a(packet.java:120)

and java.io.IOExecption: recieved langht of string longer then maximum allowed<94 < 16>

I got this error occasionally on my local hosture ed server. Never figured out why, but usually if I tried a few times it would connect and then work fine. If you really can't get it to work hop over to the bug section and fill out a bug report. Make sure you fill out the bug report format correctly or your post will be ransacked by angry smurfs!
