Description of Problem:end of stream error when trying to connect via local host or otherwise.

Error Messages: SEVERE net.minecraft.server.packet.a(packet.java:120) ,java.io.IOExecption: recieved langht of string longer then maximum allowed<94 < 16> as well as the afore-mentioned end stream error

Im no wiz or anything but if you go into the .techniclauncher folder and then delete the tekkit folder and redownload tekkit it seems to work. Could be due to the fact that the carry over lft some old files behind (forestry).

It's also possible someone updated their client to the development version and the server's still at 1.1, so in that case, yeah, you'd have to remove and rebuild your tekkit folder anyway.

Your log is for technic (SSP only), not tekkit (SMP). Are you running the right client?

I've seen that error pop up when the server has mods the client is missing, which would happen if you tried to connect to a tekkit server using technic.
