Dreossk Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hello, How can I detect if a nuclear reactor is on/off? I thought about detecting if power is going through the cable but then if all my batteries are full, no power will go through it even if it's on. What I want is just a light that indicates if the reactor is on or off. On an unrelated note, what happens if the reactor is running and the batteries are full? The energy is lost? Thanks!
Gristle Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hello, How can I detect if a nuclear reactor is on/off? I thought about detecting if power is going through the cable but then if all my batteries are full, no power will go through it even if it's on. What I want is just a light that indicates if the reactor is on or off. A redstone signal turns the reactor off. Put a light block with a NOT gate input on the redstone line that controls your reactor. On an unrelated note, what happens if the reactor is running and the batteries are full? The energy is lost? Thanks! Yes.
theprolo Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Also check this out, can be very useful. I looked at that mod, but unfortunately it started at 1.3, so it's incompatible Luckily, it provided a link to another, Tekkit compatible mod: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4916 It's not as full of features as the one you suggested, but it'll work on a server etc., so it's good for Tekkit :D
