Well, the thing is. This modder is so friggin awesome that he compressed it TO ONE FRIGGIN BLOCK ID!!

did he use the tech that eloraam uses to compress block ids? Or did he make his own?

What about using one block id representing more than one block is so hard that he needs to copy someone else? Minecraft already does this with slabs and stairs and stone bricks.

you don't understand, those are similar blocks with different "data values" to give them slightly different properties. thaumcraft compresses vastly different blocks into a single id. that creates fappage in most modders.
