Server download is up.
-
Next time before just seeing an error and coming to us for immediate help try and read it. Its pretty clear you have an id conflict.
-
That is my application to build!
-
I wuld like to jun this server I am fan of compootar. My IGN is sct!
-
Why ask us? Gregtech is blocking you from using it. Not us. We don't include it in any packs. Talk to the developer.
-
ok
-
Not if you are building on top of Tekkit Lite. The modpack.jar in Tekkit Lite already has Forge.
-
-
ForgeEssentials was removed from the server files earlier to remedy this. You can download the latest ForgeEssential builds yourself which don't have this problem.
When FE gets out a fully stable build we will start including it in server packages again.
-
The same way you put them in any other modpack.
-
Out of curiosity, is linking my completely different pack for a separate server in my post ok?
(I REALLY don't want to rework my pack..)
At this time I wouldn't recommend it. When people enter certain forums for servers they should expect it to be for that mod pack. Not a completely custom one.
-
Server-specific modpacks are considered private by the modding community. There are many out there. We don't want to have a custom servers section just yet because we aren't sure how we want to approach it. It may be looked at in the future.
For now feel free to modify any of the current packs and still post your servers in any of the sections. They should still be based on the main pack but you can freely add what you want. Just make sure to put something in your thread title so we know its a custom server. (As well as the link to the URL for the custom zip in the server post)

Please follow the server post guidelines.
-
You can have multiple folders filled with mods and configs in one zip. That was covered in the video.
-
Not at this time, no.
-
Do not sign your posts. That's called a texture pack.
-
ForgeBukkit has stopped development. It's dead.
-
This is not ForgeBukkit, this is BukkitForge. Its still heavily under development and not very stable yet. Either way, several Tekkit Lite servers are already using it.
-
I don't understand what you are asking. You have to upload the zip you create somewhere public so users can download it.
-
Dont zip the package folder, zip the folders inside of it.
-
Same as you would set it up in a normal minecraft install. I can't teach you every step of installing mods.
-
You can just make a zip file named modpack.jar and rename the extension to .jar.
-
so make a new .jar how do i do that put in a notepad and name it modpack.jar?
EDIT: also it says it has 1KB in it
We updated the modpack.jar in the custom slots and the vanilla pack. If you redownload it (clear cache) the new modpack.jar in there will be able to be opened.
-
sct you seem to know a-lot can you answer this question on every custom mod pack i make it says damaged or unknown format type when i try to open the modpack.jar so i can't install any mods do you know why?
The modpack.jar is empty with nothing actually in it. Just make a new one from scratch. It should just contain forge in most cases.
What happened? Can't enven start Tekkit Lite Client after upgrade.

Download the server again. There was hotfix pushed soon after it was uploaded.
