  1. I think at the moment there are some bugs with it. Try looking up some vids to see how it works: one might be on the Voltz wiki. You can use the basic components to get you started off. If you are past that, try solar generators. They are relatively cheaper and, in the long run, can produce a good amount of energy.
  2. You want quarries, Tekkit dude. Voltz is a more challenging version of Tekkit. With moar explosives. WAY more explosives. Sometimes I think that Michael bay was behind this modpack... But yeah. You gotta mine a lot in Voltz. That's part of the fun. So don't be lazy. :P
  3. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/update-failed.35364/ Check this forum thread out. I posted a reply that might help you. Thanks!
  4. Another way to do it (if you are willing to lose a lot of data from your modpacks) is delete the entire .techniclauncher file and reboot the launcher (simply by clicking login after having deleted folder). This is located in %appdata% roaming folder, usually under the .minecraft folder. This is what I did because only Tekkit was updating and the others were not. If you have world saves that you wish to keep, just copy/cut the "saves" folders and put them somewhere else. Then, after deleting the .techniclauncher folder and rebooting the launcher, put the saves back in. I hope this helps. It is the most surefire way I know to get it working again. It might be more work than other methods, wth dragging files you want to keep around, but it should work well. Thanks!
  5. Again, this modpack is in heay development. Many are saying that this is "the next Tekkit." The only problem is the fact that it is still in heavy indev: many of the components are not finished. It'll be a decent amount of time and Voltz modpack updates before we have everything to play around with.
  6. Hey guys, Duke here. I have an electrolyzer and a hydrogen generator ready to go in my survival SP world. The problem is that I have to stand there and load buckets into the electrolyzer. Is there a way to automatically pump buckets of water into the electrolyzer? And after that, is there a way to transfer the storage tanks to and from the two different machines? I can't seem to find any transport-tube-like items such as those in Tekkit... Please explain a good way to make this system either automatic or semi-automatic. Thanks!
