Every block you try to move has to be connected to a frame. So you are trying to move part of your roof to places it can't go to.

You could set the sorter to output unid'd items to that chest after it by giving it a color too. Also the sorter doesn't need a redstone signal. Also use a filter to feed the sorter as a transposer will only do single items.

What do you mean might, of course it works.

EE is full of exploitative loops and it will take roughly two days with minimal quarrying to get gem armor if you aren't pushing yourself. Just look at cobble to slabs (first thing you can do), darkrooms, milking machines or ultimately blaze farms. Collectors and relays are there only to slow you down.

Read wikis or if you must watch direwolf. Buildcraft is full of half-assery like the leaky pipes and terrible coding while EE is suped-up creative mode with no downsides.

They keep using so much buildcraft and ee it hurts. Don't look at yogscast for information on tekkit.

Large RedPower Frame Quarry won't work
Jusupov replied to DoctorMcAwesome's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
You seem to have covers or panels under some frames which can be a bad thing. You should also have all the motors in the top unit and not spread out. -
Or just make use of symlinks and install on your ram drive.
-
Or make a bridge there. I did one part way with redpower frame thingie.

This is a vanilla feature. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/The_End#Unusual_spawns_in_the_End

They're called tubes and try color coding the retriever requests and the tubes they travel along.

Title: Stuck in creative mode after joining a server Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows 7 Java Version: 8 Description of Problem: Every time I join our 3.1.2 server I am in creative mode with the creative menu displayed and me not having any health or armor. Fixes we've tried is deleting .tekkit and cache and grabbing everything again and deleting my info from the server. Everything worked last weekend when the server was 3.1.1 but the update during the week seems to have broken my character (and a reset doesn't work) edit: I wasn't Opped on the server before the patch or after it. Fix: Updating java 8 to a more recent snapshot fixed this. Wonder what changed to cause it to fail.

You should use redpower pump for this.

So what you are saying is with one version you can connect to servers running that version and with another version to servers that are running that one? As for re-downloading it just rename the directories with the version number and keep the one you want to play as tekkit

It shouldn't suck your CPU dry unless you use one of the terrible designs people have been posting here with a wireless receiver for each block breaker and buildcraft pipes.

Transposers - Sometimes working, sometimes not.
Jusupov replied to UL7RA's question in Tekkit Classic
That is the most terrible thing I've seen. Please if you must use that kind of setup put a buffer after that golden pipe that dumps stuff in front of the transposer. It's the chest kind of thing that has holes on every side. A bc pipe will connect to it and dump its items inside. You can leave your transposer right where it is and every time the buffer receives an item it will send a redstone pulse to the transposer and that will empty it. Though I recommend using a filter so it will pull a stack, just in case. -
My endgame seems to have ended up being IC2 farming, which is terrible

Post the launch log

Delete \tekkit\, download again

Use java 7

Is this on a server with EE disabled but you still have it in your mods thus still seeing them in NEI or are you playing single player?

Oh nobody answered OP's question yet? Download Optifine from their site, open up the zip. Open modpack.jar and remove all files that are the same. Then go grab latest forge from their site (3.3.8+) and add those files to modpack.jar You have to add forge back again since some of the files are shared.
