Okay then, what will that do? Is MCPC something that allows the running of plugins?

I dont have tekkit :S How can i run a voltz server if i change the .jar file? :S I am such a noob! Sorry!!

I dont know what that is so i dont think so :/ Im using the Voltz 1.1.4 server pack from the technic pack, with bukkitforge installed for using plugins, the plugins i have on are factions, chat manager, modify world and permissionsex, they were installed when i went back to the server, which was ood, Should i install that one that you told me instead? Or would i not be able to do that now that permissionsex is installed on there?

Well now something very odd has happened on my server! i went on to my server panel to install what you suggested and when i looked at my plugins i had loads of plugins installed.....bizzare! So i now have permissionEx, chatmanager and modifyworld installed on my server..... Aswell as factions, none of which i know how to use except for the Factions! haha! But they are all working and are in green writing when i type in /plugins

That would be cool once i've got it working if you wouldnt mind! Only thing is I only have factions on it at the minute as it is the only one I've been able to get to work as im not entirerly sure what plugins are compatible with ForgeBukkit But if you'd be able to show me through it so i'd be able to do it too that would be great

Thanks! Is that a plugin? How do i use that to set up permissions once it's installed? I have breifly looked at setting up permissions and its all a bit confusing for my capabilities at the minute! I'm sure I'll learn but at the minute i need leading by the hand pretty much! lol

Okay i have got factions to work as an admin, but i had to add admins to use the commands, is there any way i can have people use the commands without making them admins?

Hello all I had a bright idea one day that i wanted to have my own server! Well i have my server, hosted by nitrous networks and all is well and fine and dandy. However i can't seem to get plugins to work, orginally it was in my head to open the server to the world but I dont want to do that until I can protect people's things and stop over the top griefing and raiding etc! Basically i have no understanding of how the plugins work to be honest! I know i have to have bukkitforge to run them, and my understanding is that its something about the way the modpack is put together which stops me using normal bukkit and stuff :S The plugins i want to use to start off with are just factions, worldedit and shopkeepers but i cant get them to load up. I once had some success and got the plugins on the server but i couldnt use any of the commands despite being an admin :S Thank you in advance!

Hi all! I am running a server which is being hosted for me by Nitrous Networks, but ive been having troubles installing plugins on to my voltz server At the minute im running a voltz server 1.0.12, mainly because i wanted to use nuclear power and i was getting very frustrated by 1.1.3 and the lack of a nuclear boiler recipe, however i digress! The version of Bukkitforge i have is BukkitForge-1.4.7-40.jar I am trying to use shopkeepers (version 1.12) and factions (version 1.6.9.4) on my voltz server, i thought the issue was with my permissions so i downloaded permissionex (version 1.19.5) which seemed to work i.e. i saw it doing things on the console but actually the functions in that dont work either, none of the prefixes work on the chat or anything Please can anyone help me? I am a total noob at this sort of thing to be honest so i may have done something stupid! I installed bukkitforge by placing it in the coremods folder, which i think is right, and all of my plugins are installed as .jars in a plugin folder (which was generated automatically which i figured was a sign of installation success) in the right directory so i dont really understand why nothing is working My first indication that there was nothing working was that when i type in a command from one of the plugins it doesnt work, no error comes up and no text comes up saying that i dont have permission or anything, simply put nothing happens. When i checked the files none of the config files were generated or anything either which makes me think that i have done something wrong somewhere Like literally nothing is working, i cant use any of the commands, the plugins are there because when i type /plugins it shows me that they are there Thanks in advance, Tigger12UK

Hi, ive tried getting on to the server but i keep on getting notifications about registering with a password, then it kicks me off, when i try and register with a password it says the password doesnt match :/

Hi! I am interested in this server, however i was on a server not too long ago and the factions thing didnt protect any of my stuff (I may have done it wrong, i dont have a clue really i am a bit of a noob) it was annoying every time i logged on all of my stuff was gone and i had to start again in a new place every time i went on Im just wondering if this is an issue on this server or if things are better? Thanks! My in game tag is Tigger 12 UK :)

And P.S. again, the server looks great, i tried to make one and couldnt get it to work, kept on getting id mismatches :S So great work!!

Hi all! My in game tag is Tigger12UK I was wondering if it would be okay to play on this server? I've been looking for a server that has pvp and what not but isnt like 200 slots like the greify one or the hideout server, No problem if not, I'm on it at the minute trying to find somewhere to establish but if i cant play on i then that's fine Cheers!
