Im no expert on crash reports, but it looks like the minions mod might be causing the crash, try disabling it and see if it then loads up then
-
What version of optifine did you use?
You just have to put it into the mods folder, forge will automatically add it to the jar at runtime, so you dont need to modify jar files yourself.
OptiFine 1.6.4_HD_U_C6 is working for me, but C7 and C8 both crash
-
Use OptiFine 1.6.4_HD_U_C6 thats the version that is working for me, and just put it in the mods folder.
C7 and C8 both crash, I havn't tried any other versions beside Ultra
-
Can you teach me what did you do? just to get clear.
Just goto the Optifine minecraft forum post, download OptiFine 1.6.4_HD_U_C6.
the file you download should be called "OptiFine_1.6.4_HD_U_C6.jar"
just copy that file to ".technic/modpacks/attack-of-the-bteam/mods/"
then start the mod pack via the technic launcher
EDIT:
I did just test using both the C7 and C8 versions of OptiFine 1.6.4_HD_U, and they both crashed.
So maybe that was your problem, make sure you are using the C6 version which is what I was using.
I thought I was using the latest, but I guess I just used a version I already downloaded awhile ago

Im using mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B228, and morph seems to be working fine for me.
ETA: I just tried morphing into all the morph i have, and Zombie, Creeper, skeleton, enderman, all seem to work. Chicken and cow didnt, but when I killed the chicken and cow initially I did morph into them, I just cant switch to them. No errors came up in the server console
-
Yes sir, i've tried the ultra version and the normal version from this site: http://optifine.net/downloads.php
But they are like "installers" for the freaking 1.6.4+ profiles
the installers ARE compatible with forge, if it crashes what does the crash log say?
Im using "OptiFine_1.6.4_HD_U_C6.jar"
-
Go into the config folder, open up the Hats.cfg file, scroll to bottom and change " I:playerHatsMode=1 " to " I:playerHatsMode=4 "
-
then you must be doing something wrong, cause I have optifine installed and its working perfectly
-
If you teach how to place optifine in B-Team you are a god, because the downloads from optifine official site are for creating some kind of profile, i don't know.
just install it like you would install any other mod, just put the optifine jar file into the /mods/ folder
-
Also buildcraft and IC2 please
NO! both those mods are way overused, I like the fact they are using only MFR for technical machines
Though I will agree that the pack needs a few more mods added. (Especially the "Extra Utilities" mod)
On my client I have already added a lot of extra mods, including:
Applied Energetics, Aquaculture, BetterChests, Emasher, EngineersToolbox, ExtraTiC, Extra Utilities, Farlanders, HopperDucts, InvTweaks, Metallurgy, Mystcraft, PamsHarvestCraft, Revamp, RotaryCraft, Translocators, Armor Status HUD, Status EffectHUD and Damage Indicators
-
dont need to extract anything
just put the OptiFine_1.6.4_HD_U_C6.jar file into your '.technic/modpacks/attack-of-the-bteam/mods/' folder

well than theres 1 thing only... Javascript
Javascript is not the same as Java.
ive done both and even tried launching in 1.0.1 and 0.2. Alas neither of those worked, still have the same problem, invisible worldTry giving more Ram to minecraft, if that fails try increasing the permgen memory (i was having problems running the pack until I increased the permgen to 256mb, but I use multimc, so increasing the permgen is easy, not sure how to do it with the technic launcher). If none of that work try updating Java, 64 bit if possible
-
*EDIT* Nevermind, I suggested to use ender-thermic pump, but forgot that its from extra utilities which I added myself,
Maybe the modpack team could add this mod to the pack.
-
you just need to put the optifine file into the mods folder. You dont need to install it manually into the jar, thats what forge is for.
I have optifine installed, its working perfectly.

IMO the ore gen needs to be toned down a bit. Its way overpowered, just digging a single staircase down and mining the ores on the walls I was able to get a stack of diamonds, tons of copper / tin / iron / aluminium and about a half stack of lapis all before hitting level 30. Lapis is definitely more common than default ore gen. Didnt see any Ferrous ore, but that has always been difficult to find.
I hope they release a 'normal' ore gen config eventually, I've already changed it for myself, but would be nice to get an official one.

Im pretty sure you need either factorization or railcraft installed to produce steam.
Either of which be a great addition to the modpack!!!
Server Troubles... But only 2!

If you are on a server then you need to open up server.properties and change "level-type=DEFAULT" to "level-type=BIOMESOP" then delete the world folder to regenerate your map
no sure whats up with the /config thing though, it works for me
