I remember in Tekkit Classic , the items from the Iron Chest mod would should up in NEI, but when you click on them the recipes for them would not show up. There's always the FTB / Tekkit Lite Wikis , I have found for some things the FTB wiki has more info.

I know it's lacking Equivalent Exchange , unless they have changed it recently.

well that already exists it's called Single Player.

Well it could be a problem cause some of the new mods use items that are in the ground like ores and such that would not be there in a Tekkit classic world.

Episode 003 Where the Diamonds at?? We start to set up some Basic Thermal Expansion Machines and start pulverising some ores we have found , so we can build more advanced machines.

I really just think that the New Tekkit news more ways to make power as in like Solar Panels and stuff like that. Nuclear Power would be a cool thing to have as well.

I had the same problem with the buildcraft stuff, for the machines it would not even read the textures and for the pipes the textures looked like they were "stuffed up" and just looked bizarre.
