This modpack DESPERATELY needs some sort of nuclear power
King Lemming replied to Topster's topic in Tekkit Discussion
In a nutshell, it's UE. It's a solution to a problem that didn't exist. It carries with it all of the UE baggage and strictly speaking, their cabling is less computationally efficient than conduit. -
Need to see a screenshot of this.

So.. with lack of a proper powering system...

Just as a minor point, Blaze Rods can be turned into Lava in a Magma Crucible. Edit: For a net gain of energy. -
HELP! redstone energy conduits, need work around!
King Lemming replied to tim condron's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Read the error and think critically before blindly screaming "halp halp conduits are bugged sky is falling"...that is a VERY clear message and you should actually read it. It's an incompatibility between conduits and immibis' microblocks which can be fixed by editing the microblock config file. There is no bug. -
How to charge the armor of fashion Modular Powersuits?
King Lemming replied to aapeli5v's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Gotta take that up with MPS I'm afraid. -
Also, the TE Steam Engine. It's just called "Steam Engine" though, I may need to change the name to alleviate confusion.

How to charge the armor of fashion Modular Powersuits?
King Lemming replied to aapeli5v's topic in Tekkit Discussion
As already mentioned, but seriously - NEI is your friend, as is Creative mode. Take a look through the tabs, see what there is. The Energetic Infuser charges the armor just fine. -
You missed something. You can't seriously think they'd put in MPS with no way to charge it. NEI "Energetic Infuser" - in fact just look at all of the TE stuff, I'm guessing there's more in there than you may realize.

Redstone Engines and Redstone Energy Conduits
King Lemming replied to antisocialian's topic in Tekkit Discussion
Completely intentional. Redstone Engines don't work on any TE stuff. -
Thermal Expansion. You're welcome. It's not a full IC2 replacement, nor is it trying to be by any stretch. It just happens to add machines that process things.

For anyone who hasn't tried TE, give it a shot. Yes, there's more on the way. Upgrades, new generation, new machines, new storage, powered tools and armor, and some other things. For anyone who thinks TE is "too slow", congratulations, you are a caveman and are completely missing the point of a tech mod. A Pulverizer keeps up with a Quarry. For some reason people feel that a single Pulverizer should keep up with 47 Quarries. Do you sit and stare at your machines and wait to manually pull ores out? Oh what's that, you don't? So why is it such an imperative for your machine to process instantly and then sit idle 90% of the time?
