  1. I've recently set up a custom modpack. I've made a logo and a background for it, ive checked and they both are under the 500kb limit. I've saved them as .png but the website wont recognise them. It just comes up saying "The logo must be a file of type: .jpeg or .png" even though it is. Any help would be appreciated
  2. This is a great idea! Technic have yet to add help with the Solder API, and i was trying to configure it, but failed miserably. But i would use this tool to help me. This is extremely helpful. Thanks for making this!
  3. http://www.technicpack.net/article/view/coming-16-support-in-the-technic-launcher-and-a-new-amazon-hire.36 This was announced on the technic website.
  4. Hey, Al3xthegre4t! This is Marc with Horizon. I just wanted to let you know that we plan on opening in a few hours! So if you're still interested feel free to check us out at hexxit.bxbservers.com and our website at bxbservers.com!

  5. yes these are a great replacement for redpower and the majority of the mods are now updated to 1.6.2 so no downgrading and loss of horses.
  6. Gregs lighting crashes the client and when i get back on again all the floodlights are gone, its very strange, but ill take a look at the deep storage units from mfr
  7. i thought factorisation didnt make a whole game changer but small additions that help a lot, i hardly ever play a modpack if factorisation isnt in the mod list. the wrath lamps and barrels, they are so useful.
  8. You can get all the different woods using the ee3 minium stone, just put the logs into the crafting bench with the stone and you get the different wood
  9. I think that ic2 was in tekkit for too long, with new updates coming out with exactly the same coremod of literally everybody's tekkit base: IndustrialCraft 2. And I do think redpower is amazing but I think the textures aren't too 'techy' and the whole setup of it is too fiddly for me. And I do think ee2 was the most cheaty mod I've ever played. But though ee3 has had no new features yet, there are so many behind the scenes stuff going on such as automatic emc values adding to modded items and a whole rewrite of the api and loads more. Also there is an ic2 dev build available with no bugs that I have found. Have you seen mps! You can look like iron man, superman or make your own super robotic casing. I think the new tekkit is entirely techy, and feels a lot more 'modern' than all the other ftb modpacks and all the old tekkits and technics. And I think this was a giant refresh and I think it's for the better
  10. Seriously though, you are biased and have no bit of technic loving blood in your whole body. Why don't you go and play ftb and don't worry about what Kaker is doing
  11. I know all about this and I'm not stupid, it still looks rubbish. It doesnt have that wow to it
  12. Yes what I've heared is that the forge version bigdig is using isn't compatible with optifine ultra at the moment
  13. Yeah I've just noticed about johnsmith, this was my first texture pack so it's nice to come back to it, also thanks for suggesting this
  14. I'm not sure. It works for me: are you sure your compressing the folder or all the files in the folder. Select all the files in the folder and right click add to archive and set it to .zip click method; best and call it modpack.jar and try this. If you've done this already. I've just used up all my energy typing really quick for no reason. But I hope it eventually works for you!
