  1. Biofuel generators are great because they put out 15.2 MJ/tick but they eat through fuel much faster than other engines. This is combated by making sure you fill up your bio reactors completely as each different additional bio source increases the efficiency of itself and every previous bio source by 10mb. So with only 1 bio source you get 80 mb per biosource, but with 9 you get 160 per bio source.
  2. Is my current power setup to give you some ideas, its pretty overkill outputting 1440 mj/tick. It's self sustaining off only 4 large autoharvesting farms. And all the bioreactos are being fed by AE which I can't reccomend checking out enough if you haven't yet.
  3. I think it's a bug with inventory tweaks. IMO, the ability to sort all your inventories with the press of a button is worth it.
  4. Rereading my posts, my tone definitely does not reflect anger, but in the future when you ask a question please be bothered to read the full replies. It's rude not to.
  5. The wiki I sent you a link for in an earlier reply is to the lite wiki. As I said before the new wiki is still being put together, but information like what a macerator/pulverizer does is readily available. http://wiki.technicpack.net/Tekkit Is the new wiki.
  6. Of course it's not a crime, I just don't understand why you'd lead off with this information. It sounds like you really do need help, but want someone to hold your hand because you can't be bothered to read the wiki.
  7. You totally didn't even read my earlier comment.
  8. What? Are you sure youve played tekkit before? Anyway check out the lite wiki, it's more complete than the new one but not entirely up to date. And good for people who want to learn the basics http://tekkitlite.wikia.com/wiki/Tekkit_Lite_Wiki.
  9. rednet cables can work just like regular redstone, attack a lever and boom.
  10. How quick most items are crafted tends to be limited materials that need to be smelted, pulverized, melted, ect, than anything else. But the way AE sends items to be processed is it will send them all to the same machine even if multiple machines have the same recipe. I've tried feeding it from an interface into a distribution pipe to split the stack that the interface spits out, but it seems distribution pipes do not separate stacks. I have two ideas, first is to feed the items into a chest and output from the sides of the chest to divide the items, but this will take precious time, and will make it quicker for processing bulk, but slow down small loads. My only other idea is to feed the items being processed into a separate AE network that will process them and then spit them out to the original network. How have you guys made your autocrafting setups?
  11. You could also have her set some waypoints for home, mine, ect. Default key is C i think.
  12. In all seriousness the game takes almost 2 minutes to start for me. It just sits on the mojang screen. You gotta wait it out. Never fails to start though.
  13. Patience Padawan.
  14. You said youve been playing tekkit for awhile but are this unfamilar with quarries? What did you do before? Mine by hand? *Shudders* As Dash said dont place them with any block beside them, just the block they sit on. Make sure they are exact height, maximum of 64 blocks away horizontally there are no blocks in their path to the next landmark, and then right click on them. Also the quarry has to be placed against one of the landmarks, not the laser.
  15. Try dropping more tnt there and blowing that up. For science.
  16. Same for the stepping assist lol. Its so great. As is the railgun.
  17. Dude you gotta use minefactory its fantastic. Also lol at the pics, check out range upgrades.
  18. So relative to combustion engines, their fuel is cheaper, they run 2.5 times faster, they don't randomly explode, and don't require constant water. That's makes it tekkits top tier engine I guess.
  19. After measuring it, biofuelgenerators seem to create 15.2 MJ/tick 2.5 times quicker than a combustion engine running on fuel. One bucket of biofuel will produce 152000 MJ.
  20. After some brief testing it would appear combustion engines don't accept biofuel lol. I assumed it was the same as forestry's, I guess not.
  21. Mostly are you guys using the kinetic generator? I'm finding it annoying now that it overheats when I'm flying around even with 400% cooling. Not that it didn't need a nerf because of course it did. Also what are your favorite modules?
  22. I can't find any numbers on this. Also on a tangent why is it called a biofuel generator shouldn't it be called the bioreactor since it is reacting the biofuel? And shouldn't the biofuel generator being the one generating biofuel?
  23. It does have an offline mode if you've logged in before. Have you only pirated minecraft?
  24. While I think you can use redstone engine to power a quarry you really shouldn't. Also for future reference you cant connect redstone engines to conductive pipes, only directly into what they are powering.
  25. Wow I usually play with in game music off because I play my own, didnt notice till I read this post and thought about it. Definitely no random music in tekkit.
