Mo' Creatures works fairly well, though it's a tiny bit glitchy. They may (possibly, I really have no idea) be putting it in at some point. I stress the may.

MSE, Avast!, and even Avira, as long as it's updated, will do. I suggest one of the first two.

AVG likes to interfere with things even when it's disabled. I suggest removing it entirely.

With smoother gameplay comes smoother responsibility...no, that's wrong. Anyway, point is that you really need to provide more info if you want any kind of help. For example, is this lag recent? Did anything trigger it? What are your computer specs, and how much memory are you assigning the launcher? Would you like to provide a launcher log to look at, just in case there's a non-game-breaking bug that causes lag? Does this happen in new worlds? Etc...etc...etc. You get the point.

There was no hate. There was a bit of ridicule, but keep in mind that one of the most well-known of the rules here is not to ask for ETAs. The OP is borderline on that.

Half-life 2 actually made me jump several times, until you get used to certain enemies.

Not seeing anything odd in your log, a reinstall might help, otherwise try only allocating 512MB and see what happens. Lag can be caused by a lot of things, though I haven't heard of enchantment tables doing it.

What do you mean, "cannot get the jar file to work for me"? Be a little more specific.

Learn to stop triple-posting first, then go look at your .techniclauncher directory. It'll be obvious. Edit: You want launcher_0.log - use pastebin if it's too big for code tags.

Delete the .techniclauncher folder and go get a new copy of the launcher, then. It shouldn't still be doing that. I've not seen COMODO work well with the launcher, though - you may have to remove it entirely.
