  1. Reinstall the Standard version of OptiFine (drop it in your Tekkit client directory's modpack.jar).
  2. Add java to your system path variable.
  3. Try the .jar - you're really not giving much to go on, though.
  4. This is a Java error log, not a launcher log, and doesn't really say anything about what the launcher was doing. I can tell that you're using a rather old version of Java, and that you should update to Java 7 (remove all older versions of course).
  5. Check your render distance (Video Settings). If that doesn't work, then check your launcher log and, you know, post it.
  6. You're using Tekkit 3.1.0 - don't do that. There is no server that will let you on with that version. Clear the cache and drop back to the Recommended Build.
  7. Yeah, there's really nothing to add to this.
  8. @DA: What pack version are you running? If it's Technic 7.x.x, it doesn't have OptiFine installed. I highly recommend doing that to drastically improve performance.
  9. @OP: You have a really old version of the launcher. A new one will likely fix your problems. @Briannator5: Are you just saying that, or do you also have a really old version of the launcher? If so...get a new one. If not, start your own thread. Or, you know, read the 359 others on this topic.
  10. Wooden pipes don't do that, ever, unless something is seriously wrong with your installation. Where's your log, what are your actual version numbers for the launcher and modpack, and is there an actual question in here?
  11. There, ummm, should be an error message in that window where it asks you to press any key. What is it?
  12. Give us a launcher log, please. This looks like an AV blockage or connection failure on the surface, but it could be any number of things.
  13. Yeah, 10.6 and over will handle Technic according to all the threads on Macs so far (I have no personal experience). You're most likely going to have to upgrade, though it seems people have been able to get it to work, no one seems to have a tutorial up.
  14. OptiFine makes sure your textures are working correctly. It looks like yours are not. 6.0.7 runs Minecraft 1.1, so that's the version of OptiFine Standard I'd use (drop it into your modpack.jar). Otherwise, a reinstall (make backups, ofc) will likely fix your problem.
  15. Post a launcher/error log. Your particular bug report is useless without one. Are you using the Recommended Build?
  16. Try...a launcher log, if you want some help. My guess is that you turned off a core mod without turning off all the sub-mods. Still, a launcher log would likely produce a better diagnosis.
  17. Go into Control Panel > Programs and Features, and remove all your old versions of Java. Then post a new error log if it's still doing the same thing.
  18. This, right here, after all the rest, got me. I lol'd. (There were a few other things, but they weren't as funny to me.) Also, quit insulting the "American educational system" - it has its place. It's just that parents need to provide some assistance for public education to be effective in...educating, and more and more of them are failing to do that.
  19. Replace "Latest" with something useful, and you may receive help. If this is a dev. build of Technic (7.anything), install OptiFine.
  20. Then delete your .techniclauncher\tekkit folder and reinstall it. Something got botched when you installed 3.1.0 (which is what happened, btw). *Edit: That'll teach me to not refresh the thread after leaving it open for 15 minutes.
  21. That's a java error log, not the launcher log. If the launcher won't start at all, you probably don't have one, though. Try the .jar. Otherwise, we need more info, like what AV you have, and whether you have multiple versions of Java.
  22. I'm aware of this. What does that have to do with the OP not posting his log?
  23. There's a texturepacks folder in .techniclauncher\tekkit...I'd start there.
  24. You as well. *Salute*
  25. You must either use a plugin that lets you control individual recipes, or remove all collectors, condensers, relays, etc. The selections are in the EE_props file. However, you can also adjust machine speed. Higher number is slower as I recall.
