That takes me to http://ww1.minecraftforge.com/, which is just one big ad, if there is any actual download for forge on there I do not see it. And if I change it to .net it says that the page is not found. EDIT: I figured it out, though not where to download them from, since getting the libraries was the only problem I snagged them off of a BigDig server I had run back a ways on minecraft 1.5.2. If there is a proper fix though I would still be interested. Thank you for the help.

OK, I was an idiot, forgot to update iptables.

I finally realized when I tried running it on my computer and connecting to local host that it was working fine, this brings a new question that is probably stupid but for some reason I cannot figure out the fix: I am running the server on a computer that is hardwired into the modem/router and my computer is plugged into a router that is connected to such said modem. The server has DMZ set for the server (though it should have no affect with this) and when I connect via ssh to my server (192.168.0.100) there is no problem, I start the sever, it is running fine, answers a help prompt, but my computer cannot connect to the server with minecraft, it just does not see it. Do I need to open a port or close one (still have the forwarding set on router and modem for my computer)?

What about for an already established world?

I am running version 1.3.9 and I am having the same problem, I think it may have something to do with a Dimensional Anchor that has been on for a while. For the longest time there was no problem with the hostile mobs spawning and now I find that there are none at all around my Anchor, I did try going outside of its effect always and found some hostile mobs like I would expect but not as many, I have my server set to hard. Is there a way to tell the server to regen all of the mobs? I have not noticed any endermen problems with the dimensional doors either. On second thought could it have something to do with the added dungeons? It seems that they all have many spanners and since there are about 6 levels on some of the underground ones that seem to be everywhere...

IC2 needs to be updated to work with minecraft 1.5.2 and I believe that CanVox said that they where asked to remove Railcraft. Although it would be nice to get the steam back since we do have the textures and engines for it still.

Can the electric expansion mod be added, I feel that we are really missing the more advanced power transfer right now and all of it is between build craft conductive pipes, universal cables, and the copper cables that for some reason try to transfer power instantly and therefor catch on fire. It seems like adding the extras would make it much easier for anyone trying to create a fusion or fission reactor, probably even a hydrogen generator.

Either there is a glitch that is keeping the weapons that i put in the gauntlet from working or there is some key to press, I have assumed it would be right mouse button. Please note that I do increase the power use to the max.

Can something be added to replace the RP2 deployers?

Out of curiosity how do you transfer that much energy, I have been having troubles trying to hook 6 wind turbines up to a basic energy cube because when I put say my power armor in there my wires catch on fire, is there a level up from the basic copper cables or am I doing this all wrong?

That is disappointment, I was looking forward to speeding up my construction. Thanks for the help. I was just wondering, is there an alternative to the builder that does it for you, other than the turtles, unless there is an easy way to tell them how to that I do not know.

Are the builders from build craft disabled? I have used them before and cannot get them to build any of my blue prints that I make with the architect table, I have used it before but not in a while, I do power it with 3 sterling engines and it does nothing. If it is disabled is there a way to re-enable it or would that just cause crashing?

I gave Big Dig 8GB so I am pretty sure that it is not the issue, that and the fact that it never uses close to that much, usually less than 50%. I also have always had the increase perm gen option selected since I first got the Technic launcher. Sorry for not doing a better job listing my settings the first time. If it makes any difference I am running Linux Mint 15 64-bit with 16GB ram 0 swap, 60GB partition on SSD (39.8GB free), and a 3.6Ghz Quad from AMD, I also have a nvidia gt440 and run 2 displays at 1920x1080 (if it makes a difference) and I have set my graphics driver to be the recommended one, not the default non-proprietary one. I grant that some of that is probably not useful, I am just trying to cover everything. Oh and when I ran the server it was on a separate local computer. I also just ran it again now and although it does still glitch a little it is less pronounced even with the same settings, there are no differences in my background load. It could have been the Linux Mint updates I had just installed but it seems smooth now, well as smooth as minecraft ever is.

It now has 26, so maybe it is not as bad as I thought, it does seem to go up and down, did not see that before. And actually I was going to use screen but for now I decided that I wanted to keep it up on the physical computer's display to see how it was running, although I still cannot find out if when I ran the /save-on it actually is saving automatically since it does not seem to be printing it to the tty.

I am still new to having a server, I had set it up for the first time the weekend of all the updates. Just recently I decided to run The Big Dig without ssh so for the first time I have not been stopping it after every use. I have noticed that more of the process labeled with the command "java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar BigDig.jar nogui" I am using htop from ssh on my main computer and finding that more and more of that process starts to be appearing, after about 15 hours of the server running there are 28 instances of this program listing, the odd part is that when I am on the server it seems to be no less efficient but it could be gaining memory every time, I just have not had it on long enough to tell yet. Every time I have stopped the server they all do close, but it seems odd that they keep growing. And after writing this there are now 29 instances of it. First let me clarify that it is more of a glitch, it does not fully freeze but it kind of stops for a split second to half a second before continuing and that happens about every 3 seconds - 2 seconds while moving around. If running or flying it is more pronounced than walking, but it is noticeable and annoying. I noticed this first on my server when I decided to test it out for performance and noticed this problem, the entire time I was watching the CPUs on my server and it stayed below 40% the entire time once I as connected. I then tried to duplicate the problem on single player and found the same problem, the only thing I found I could do to decrease the problem is reduce the render distance and other methods of reducing quality such as setting it to power saver rather than max fps. Nothing that I tried actually fixed the freezing, just reduced it. I do not think it is my computer since I did not have this problem back a few versions, although I am unsure of when it started. Is this just me and is there a fix?

I got a similar error the first time I was testing out the new update, I have 8GB dedicated for Big Dig and have had perm gen increasing on since I first got the launcher. This happened on single player too. It has not happened again so I cannot confirm if it was in fact the same error, but it just happened randomly while I was moving about, I was not messing with a modded, or vanilla, item at the time.

How do I set up auto save on my server? One of the updates seems to have removed the auto one that was there. Is there one I can just toss into my mod directory?

Thanks for that fix, it fixed all of the problems that I was having, including most of the glitcheness. Now they just have to include it in an official release.
