  1. First I put one of those .jar's in the modpack.jar file, it didn't work. Next I put almost everything in the SLF4J file inside the modpack.jar, still didn't work. What to do next.

    Well I've found out that that error doesn't have any significance. There is another error causing this. The error we have been discussing happens every time. Please turn on console, launch the pack and give the error code.

  2. I downloaded the Madpack 3.0 and when I clicked play, I started a new world but it seemed just like vanilla with no new items from mods or anything. Is there something extra I need to do or do you think it is a computer problem? Please help!

    You can manually fix it. Download the latest forge universal for your version (1.7/1.8 I dont know) and put it in modpacks/madpack 3.0/bin and rename it to modpack.jar. That should fix it

  3. Hi all, I hope im posting in the right place?

    So today while inside my Tardis I got kicked from the game, now when I try to launch the game it won't start. I can get to game lobby but then crashes when I select Crazycraft. If anybody can let a moderator know or someone who can help fix this issue that would be great. I have so much achieved in this game and I'm hoping its not all gone.

    Can you pastebin your fml-latest.log or even better your crash log if it is present?

  4. This will sound dumb but I just downloaded the launcher I did not know there was a "installer" I just thought it was the launcher. If there is a method of instalation could you link another forum that shows the process.

    No it is just the launcher, but have you completely ddeleted the .technic folder from your computer and re-downloaded the launcher?

    option 1:
    if you have 64-bit java, you can run it directly from "C:Program FilesJavajre#binjava.exe" replacing the # symbol with either 7 or 8 depending on which version you have installed, so you'd just replace the "java" part in the batch file with that entire string, including the quotes.

  6. I can't upload it to a hosting company because it loads up to be vanilla 1.7.10 instead of the mods, it should be working now tho, try again. I mean, it works for me using the technic launcher. I just grab the Api link and put it in and all the files download, however it still loads up to be vanilla instead of the mods.

    so it works now? And what I meant with upload it to a hosting company: upload it to dropbox or such because no-one except for you has permission to download via the link you provided

    And I want to clearly say that I never had problems with the launcher since the last patch !
    Oh, don't forget that I don't speak Java ... so don't speak to me in Java... Use English instead please :P

    Don't tell me to get a new version of java as I already tried.

    The SLF4J thing is nothing. Ignore it. Did you download the 64 bit version of java? Set your allocated RAM to 2-3 gig in launcher options

  8. Hi,
    I tried to setup my server in multicraft and sadly, I couldn't figure a way to fix this annoying problem
    this problem isn't about the setting of the modpack, everything is just fine it's all about multicraft and how it gets that the server is actually up
    it gets stuck for some reasons in loading mode which disable the chat but the console works fine
    here's the logs

    to save your time from reading it the server is fine, but it won't show up in multicraft for some reasons that I don't know
    the modpack isn't the problem as it seems, and cauldron.jar and kcauldron.jar had the same problem too, it seems like it only happen with 1.7.10 mc as I made a B-Team server already and it works fine
    I know what happen with cauldron, but it doesn't explain why multicraft is stuck in loading mode.
    I have few things I haven't tried which it's the conf file in multicraft jar
    as I have no idea where to get it and how to set it up as I haven't tried it before
    so any ideas?
     

    I've had that problem too. I fixed it by buying more RAM

    Have you migrated your account to mojang? Then use your mojang email adress and mojang password to log in

  10. i always try to get a mod pack but it keeps saying failed to download on my macbook pro i cannot use or download any mods pls help :P

    What does your console say when you try to download a modpack? Enable it in launcher options

  11. The logs were the ones you should have posted on pastebin and then posted the link here. But this works fine too. I'm going to instill it now and see what the crash report/fml-latest.log says. I'll find out what the problem is in no time

     

    Edit 1: I found this:

    [B#339]  [12:58:04] [main/ERROR] [FML]: The game is going to exit, because this is a critical error, and it is very improbable that the modded game will work, please obtain clean jar files.

    You can try to re-download the forge-latest universal.jar
    Looking further into it now

     

    Edit 2: It still happens when I download a clean version of forge.
    Checking other jars with a bug tracker

     

    Edit 3: There was a .litemod file (voxelmap). Do not use these! These are for the liteloader. Just use normal forge, liteloader is not handy anymore.}
    And I think I have found the problem

     

    Edit 4: I have found one of the problems. You have downloaded the 1.8 version of botania! I think there are a couple more of these mistakes.

     

    Edit 5: I fixed it!

    Here are the things you need to do:
    -change your bin folder to only have the modpack.jar (in the file that gets downloaded when you install the modpack) Because that minecraft.jar is corrupted

    So the inside of your modpack's bin folder only has modpack.jar in it. This is how it is intended.

    -Download the 1.7 version of botania

    -Download the voxelmap.jar instead of the .litemod

  12. I have java 8, intel I core 5, java 8 66, java 8 66 (64-bit), I don't know if this is enough comment  again if not

    Well, optifine seems to mess up a lot with a ton of mods. I strongly recommend you do not use it in your modpack. Any other changes happens between fps drop and normal fps?

    Btw, this post was very hard to find between all the spam posts. No-one else is going to look between them, so I'm the only one who is going to reply most likely. (just fyi)
