  1. Allright, they should be strenge names, that is for securty. Now download NBTexplorer (the program with the dead bush icon) and figure out to what username they belong. If they belong to something else than just a username, so if there is extra text attached to the username, you must copy that name and past it here

  2. Clearing taint with my airship over Obelisk Island and flew a little too high. When assembled ship (pressed '/') top half had disappeared, including dawn machine, pipes, ward jars, chest full of ward jars, and, most importantly, the ship's helm so I can't even move the ship to get my stuff back.

    Error = 'height limit for building is 256 blocks' so need to try alter config file, but just can't find the one I am looking for in appdata/technic/mods/blighfall - any help? or have I lost all my jars of auram and dawn machine :( 

    I have found that you can change the max height with worldpainter, do not really know how. Google is your best friend

  3. When I publish the world in local mode, my brother whenever relog will lose all the items and achievements. Besides , when I made a bee house and relog I cannot use it or destroy it , because it belongs to my nickname . Sorry for bad english .

    No problem for bad english, can you look into your world (that you publish) and see how much player files there are? Go to the folder of the modpack that you use and then into saves -> world -> player(s)

  4. got 64 bit installed but then the launcher wont open at all

    (this is true for AT launcher as well)

    it just does nothing when clicking it

    What version of java? I run 7 along 8 and make sure technicpack runs on 7, did you try to disconnect your internet when launching the launcher? It tends to work somehow

    Allright I'll give you a step by step guide, should be very easy:

    Make a folder with the following layout:
    -bin --> contains the forge<version>.jar use the latest version and rename it to modpack.jar
    -config
    -mods --> put your mod files (mostly .jar) in here

    Zip it all and save it as <yourmodpackname>-<version>.zip

    Upload it to any hoster, I use dropbox. Rename it to the file name that the technic launcher wants you to name it to

    Copy the upload link: dropbox.com/randomstuff/<yourmodpackrame>-<version>.zip?dl=0 to your modpack. Change the last number from 0 to 1
     

    That should do it

  7. I have a line of chests and would like to have a way to have pipes lined up behind them. However, I want the the first item to go in the first chest, the second item in the second, and so on until all the chests have 1 item. Then, it starts over. Is there a way to do this?

    does emerald transport pipe exist in that version of BC?

  8. I believe this is the best place for this thread but anyway, I am slowly creating a server but I want to make my server more challenging by slowing down the actual collectors emc generating speed.

    What would I need to edit with what tool since I do not believe its as simple as editing a yml file since it will most likely be coded into the mod which I do not know where to find.

    Tried google over the past 2 days with no luck so hopefully one of you can help.

    I do not know how to, try looking in the configs or download mod tweaker. It prolly is not available for mc 1.2.5 but you can always try

  9. So I'm trying to teleport MJ power. It's natively in EU so I'm taking it out of a batbox and running it through an energy link. I've set the receiving end to 'can recieve = true' and they're on the same frequency. I'm then passing it through another energy link on the other side and pumping it back into another batbox. Problem is, nothing is coming out the other end.

    I've also tried swapping the conductive wooden pipes for the conductive golden pipes (as per a suggestion on reddit,) to no avail.
    Any ideas?

     

    there is a limit in distance, try experimenting

Sorry if i'm being an idiot but i hooked up 2 LV solar panels to an MFE (which outputs 128 EU/t) and connected that MFE to IC2 MV Consumer (which accepts 128 EU/t) but when ever i attach the last glass fibre cable to the IC2 MV Consumer it blows up and i don't understand why. Any help is appreciated.

    most likely a bug in the the power converters mod, try looking in the config if you can change this or try using an hv consumer

  11. More Info: I've just taken the helm off my second ship to see if I can use this to move it. However warning in text appears 'HEIGHT LIMIT FOR BUILDING IS 256 BLOCKS' and that is where I am because that's just above Obelisk Island, and that's why the top of my boat has disappeared.

    Is there some way to change the limit?

     

    yes, in the minecraft config if you cannot find it, search on .cfg files, or properties files. It might be in the save or somewhere else. Then change building limit to something higher

Hello, I believe i did everything right here, I made all my files zip, the jar file forge universal extracted and zipped, my bin, config, and mods zipped, my mods all extracted and zipped, i tried a few other methods that didnt really help so some of your ideas i may already considered on trying. I used all the dropbox alternatives like, dropbox, copy.com, google drive, mega, etc.. My main problem is the technic launcher installing it as a modpack and creating a modpack. I remember a few errors to it that i have reported to technic staff but they gave me no reponse so i chose to make a thread hopefully people will pick up faster on here, I am currently using copy.com, i placed my modpack named (modpack) in the dropbox copy.com, it uploaded successfully, i copyed and pasted the public link in the modpack location i did the brief description etc blah blah blah, i pressed update modpack, It gives me a error  saying: "it looks like we hit a snag!" and then info under that ribbon. i mess with it a little more its uploaded i click install modpack on technic launcher. I press play, it loads the assets, mods, and jarfile forge. it opens up my minecraft and then its in vanilla. it is supposed to be 1.7.10 forge, what do i do from there. it would be most appreciated if you can leave a comment, or set it up for me if possible Thank you for your comments helpful tips That i probably already tried.     It seems like you did it the old way.

    Folder layout

    -bin --> modpack.jar        this is the latest forge universal renamed to modpack.jar

    -config

    -mods --> all your mods including core mods in their original state! That means that most of them are .jar files
