Delete the folder named after your server name. If you didn't modify the server name it'll be called world.

Open Run (Windows Key+R) Type in %appdata% and hit ok Open .technic, find the Hexxit folder Make a backup of all your single player saves and delete the folder. Then relaunch the modpack AMD it should redownload it

Had to open the image directly. You use a rift remover not closer.

Reset all of technic. If your on Windows open Run and type in %appdata% Then delete the .technic folder

Are you making any changes to the files other then Server.properties? Try resetting the pack from the client side. I doubt its the server since this is directly from technic.

Well if the non-beta launcher works we can isolate the cause of the problem. So try it out and see if the beta launcher is causing the issue.

Try using a non beta launcher. Could be a bug of some sort.

Sure your installing onto modpack.jar not minecraft.jar? Try reseting the pack and going through it once more. Backup your worlds though.

Idk depends on your anti-virus. Something like firewall exception maybe. I've never had a need for antivirus.

So stuff like quarrys, pipes, wrenches, etc you have on your hexxit server?

Does it have a chance to load everything before you launch? Using the beta launcher? Antivirus?

Try resetting the pack. Hit the gear under hexxit and click reset.

What do you mean by it being identical to the tekkit one?

Make sure your antivirus has technic unblocked. It seems to be on a loop downloading your helm.

Are you sure your not running a vannila server. You have to download the server files off technic.

If you can do this. You can build a pc. Windows 8 will have no issue runnig you apps and games. Older games that came out during the time of XP will need go be patched to at least Vista.

I dont think Optifine is installed.. the Video Settings should be present. Just without the AA and AF I believe. But definitely a majority of Optifine Ultra's settings. The version doesn't affect installation steps so you must have did something wrong.
