  1. No, you couldn't log in because you were banned... oh my... I think I'm gonna bookmark your profile, this is promising... As far as the song is concerned, I work in luxembourg where about 30% of the population is portuguese, so unfortunately I know it all too well... I asked a portuguese co-worker about the lyrics some time ago, I think it isn't as bad as it seems in the translation you linked. I can't remember the exact translation, but she said that the lyrics don't make any sense at all, and I think a girl would have mentioned if it was really offending... And even if it was, did you ever read any rap lyrics?

  3. It's a classic block id conflict, but that shouldn't happen as you seem to be playing the rec build and the two mods conflicting are part of that. Have you tinkered with the config files in any way, or tried to install mods on top of technic?? As far as the mod select button is concerned, read the stickies and you'll find the solution. You should always read the stickies before posting a problem.
  4. Yeah, me too I'm not playing it yet , but I rarely buy games when they come out, usually you don't have to wait very long for a major price drop... The last game I bought instantly was Fallout New Vegas, and that one cured me - not because of the price, but because of the insane amount of bugs... Well, if anybody takes that one out of the stickies, I guarantee you that the amount of posts in the bug section will double within one week. Or maybe not, as nobody seems to be reading them anyways...

  8. It only works with redpower pipes (the ones made with brass ingots), not with buildcraft pipes...
  9. Re: Could this remove the need for a Technic pack? Hmm, wouldn't a spore mod for MC be a nice idea? Something along the lines of "mocreatures meets breeding meets forestry bee genetics"... Don't know if that's technically possible though, I don't know shit about modding.
  10. That's awesome! I played around a bit with the RP blocks as well, but I'm more of a technician than a builder, so the results were far less amazing than this... EDIT: I just noticed that you posted this in the wrong forum section, maybe you could ask a moderator to move it to General Technic or Tekkit... Has nothing to do with the launcher, and more people who are interested in it will see it there...
  11. Did you open the file with the button in the launcher? If not maybe you changed it in the technic modloader.cfg while you wanted to do it in tekkit. My explanation above to manually open the file is for technic, I haven't got tekkit installed and don't know where the file is located for tekkit. If it isn't that, then I have no idea, maybe you could try to reinstall the launcher...
  12. Pilchard apparantly already figured that one out, look at his forestry replacement thread: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,6991.0.html I'm currently working on the rubber farm... EDIT: Dammit, deployers don't work with tree taps, seems like this is gonna be a tough one... Not sure if harvesting rubber wood with the turtle will work self-sufficiently, the low sapling drop rate could be a problem... Has anybody tried yet if turtles can harvest rubber wood at all? Don't know much about TC2, maybe that could be another solution.
  13. I think you meant deployer when you wrote transposer, but you're absolutely right, I didn't think about the right-click/left-click thing. I guess I'm gonna try it with ComputerCraft turtles then... Might even be more fun that way...
  14. Yeah, maybe one could even integrate treecapitator by supplying a deployer with axes which get repaired in an alchemical chest with a talisman of repair... Gotta try if the retriever can make a difference between used an unused tools though... But I think the rubber farm will be quite challenging, can't really think of a way to automatically harvest the sticky resin, but I could make it bigger and extract 1 resin from the wood at least. Altough the low sapling drop rate NightKev mentioned could become a problem... Or maybe not chop down the rubber trees at all and instead figure out a way to harvest the resin spots with a deployer using tree taps (bud-switches should give a signal when resin grows, no?) However, there'so much stuff to try out now, I think we have to thank SirSengir for being a dick and hence inspiring our creativity!
  15. Wow, you're right, has been a while since I've been on the ic2-wiki, is this agriculture stuff new or did I just miss it? I think I have seen the cropnalyzer thingy before, and wondered what it's for, but I can't remember having seen most of the other stuff. Hard to imagine I would have missed anything that's called "booze-barrel", let alone "weed-ex", that one could be my nickname... ;)
  16. yeah... but that would be the vanilla approach, and as I'm kind of an automation-freak, that's not really an option for me... Automating everything possible is my main motivation playing technic.

  18. Plants to make redstone and iron?? I think you got something wrong there... You can make all kind of things from uu-matter in ic2, look up the mass fabricator on the ic2-wiki, but that`s got nothing to do with plants whatsoever. There are plantballs though, which can be used to get fuel, I never tried that, but thats on the ic2-wiki also...
  19. Dammit, minefactory gone, now forestry as well, looks like I`ll finally have to figure out a fully automated redpower-treefarm. But the rubber-treefarm is gonna be kinda hard to do with redpower I guess. Anybody got experience with that? Shithead or not (I know nothing about the guy), I liked that mod, especially the electrical engines...
  20. Hmm, so you`re telling me I can have a cow-powered quarry? That`s so freakin weird, I have to try it before they kick forestry out in the next update...
  21. I personally use the forestry elecrical engines, powered with eu from my ic solar panels. Basically I use the electrical engine to power a wooden conductive pipe that goes into the conductive teleport pipe. Then at the rubber tree farm, I hook up all three machines (rubber arboretum, logger and treetap) with stone conductive pipes and the receiving conductive teleport pipe. Works fine for me, and 1 electrical engine at 6 eu/t is largely enough to produce more rubber than I use. Might depend on how much rubber you need though. But this way I don't have to worry about coal or peat at all... I do almost all of my BC powered stuff with electrical engines...
  22. Re: TechBlock 0.4.3 & Tekblock 0.1.2 Downloaded the map today but there's only 5 obsidian in the chest on the sandstone. Is that a bug or am I missing something?? Very nice idea btw, I also had the impression that voidborn is a very cool map, but not skyblocky enough...
  23. Yeah but that's why I want to know if CC 1.3.1 is in technic 6.1.1 because the giant monitors only come with 1.3.1. And no need for telnet then, as the blinkenlights starwars seems to be integrated in that version of CC. As far as I understood that's the secret program they are talking about in the CC forums... Not 100% sure about that though...
  24. Ah ok, I just guessed that they would at least wait for IC and BC to be updated before they put it online... But I'm just a simple mortal who knows nothing about the magical mysteries of technic development... ;)
