  1. Aegis Gaming Network is beginning a continuation of this Midgar project detailed Here The premise of this project is to recreate and ressurect a long dilapitated gaming genre recreated in Minecraft. This project will have custom mods, plugins, and a server backbone that will be able to safely carry and drive the creative content of this project. The purpose of this project is to breath some fresh air into the long winded and stale status quoe that is Classic servers, and replace it with an interactive and omni-directional expansion of content, and creative antiquity. What we strive too do is to create a new branch of Minecraft that will allow the players to pick and choose their destinies within the server structure in order to create their own path based on the content provided. The kind of content we are prepared and primed to offer includes but is not limited to a 200k by 200k plus size map, complete with interactive towns, quests, and adventures. There will be player owned and run guilds of varying natures and a comprehensive classes and skills system, including a fairly in-depth magic and skills system complete with player stats and attributes. Custom instanced and world bosses and monsters with never before seen skills and ferocity will also be featured. This is only a very small and minor introduction to what Aegis Gaming has in store. Rest assured, with our expansive and professional staff team, this is a project that will surely bring life and warmth into the often cold and disconnected Minecraft community. If you are interested in joining the build, code, or art team, please contact me on this site, or Volgarenthor on his Enjin account athttp://www.aegisgaming.org/profile/592792.

  3. Will do There are actually plans to build the whole FF7 map
  4. The semester from hell is finally over

  5. Hey guys, update: The Aegis Launcher has, well, launched. Download it at launcher.aegisgaming.org in order to play on our AdventureTech server. See you there!
  6. I.... I don't know what to say. So grateful you've been Keller'd. I just hope TC3 makes it to Technic. It looks fantastic.
  7. I've seen that one It looks smaller than hours, but, honestly, I like the colors in it better than ours. However, ours is fully functional And, well, tekkit.
  8. Sometimes I check out the forums solely for the comedic value.
  9. Thanks It took us a lot of effort. Definitely worth it :D
  10. Almost six months ago, the owner and build team of Aegis Gaming Network began a project to build a to-scale, perfectly rendered version of Final Fantasy 7's Midgar. The final product spans thousands of chunks, and is comprised of approximately 299 million blocks. Now, this number is a rough estimate, we could be off by millions in either direction. The map is completely accessible and playable, so if the FF7 players who are a part of the Technic community need to fulfill their Midgar needs, it is hosted on a Tekkit 3.1.2 server at pvp.aegisgaming.org. With fully functional Mako reactors, all fully built sectors, and even a completely built Shinra HQ, you'll definitely nerd-out all over this map. The map is currently not up for download. For reference, this is Midgar in FF7: Now, here is our build:
  11. Shinnies, eh? I guess regular hockey isn't good enough for ya.
  12. Fuck the tinkerbell thing, this is the best idea ever.
  13. You should go as tinkerbell. I am assuming you are a male, and if I saw one of my guy classmates dressed as tinkerbell, I'd probably piss myself laughing.
  14. Either that, or pvp.aegisgaming.org, it's also tekkit, and we're also getting organized. This whole thing is actually hilarious, I'm looking forward to seeing your first review. Hell, I'm hoping the satire I detected is actually there.
  15. Finals are just one little part of my gigantic to-do list for the next few days. Hopefully starting a Lets-Play with spitfire25565 soon!

  16. I totally agree. Now, the RSE generation was fantastic, but as a kid, Kanto was my favorite region. It was the first region that was aired in the Pokemon series, which got me into the games. Ahh nostalgia :')
  17. Update: Aegis Gaming's custom server for Glixyl's AdventureTech has successfully update to Thaumcraft3! Come check it out - the pack is a blast. More information here: http://glixyl.wordpress.com/adventuretech/
  18. Honestly, the Pajama Sam games were my favorite. I know, I know, not exactly your idea of a fantastic game (for those of you wondering what it is, it was a kid's puzzle game). It had dark humor, creepy animations, and it was difficult as all hell. I never beat it. /me sinks down in her chair in shame Later childhood, super smash brothers melee, for sure. My friends and I played for hours on end. Now, I'm in Uni, and I'm one of the best players here. I thank my lazy gamer friends for that :D
