  2. There is a pretty easy way to get shiny ingots. 1. Get a silk touch pick. (Easy with Tinkers Construct). 2. Go mine ALL THE REDSTONE. Seriously, get like 10 stacks of redstone ore. And while you're at it, grab all the Ferrous Ore you see. 3. Run the redstone ore through a pulverizer. The secondary item from that is Cinnabar. 4. Place both the cinnabar and any Ferrous Ore you've collected into an Induction Smelter. Smelting those together gives you a 100% chance of receiving the secondary item. In this case, shiny ingots. I'm sitting on a stack of shiny from doing this. It just takes some gathering time.
  3. I've found that MFR machines and item ducts sometimes don't get along. The idle timer will stop just like yours did. I decided to just put chests behind the machines to catch items and then attach the item ducts to the chest to route things and that works fine.
  4. Hey guys. So I'm building a new base and I'm going to try to make it as automated as possible using ProjectRed pipes. So to do that I need a metric asston of Lumar which means lots of dyes and glowstone. The glowstone is easy, I've got a 4 spawner witch farm. But the dye is another story. I thought about making a flower farm or something but looking thorugh NEI I found a couple of interesting recipes. If you place dyed wool in a pulverizer you get 4 string plus a 25% chance of getting the dye itself. So you get roughly 16 dye from 1 stack of colored wool. Now dyeing wool in vanilla is 1 dye + 1 wool but (I think a mod adds this?) there's another recipe that allows you to dye 8 wool at once by surrounding a dye in the crafting table. So for those following along at home. 1 stack of colored wool costs 8 dye but you get about 16 dye if you pulverize that stack of wool. Now here comes the interesting part. Take the 4 string you got and pipe it to a cyclic assembler and have it use the following recipe. 4 string = 1 white wool. So basically you can just keep redyeing the same wool and sending it through the pulverizer, doubling your dye everytime. So here's the setup: The lower cyclic assembler turns the string back into wool and sends it to the upper cyclic assembler to be redyed and piped back to the pulverizer. This setup only does one color at a time. It's not the fastest thing in the world but like I said I'm building a new base so this can just run in the background while I'm doing other stuff. And I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with this but I thought I'd post it anyway. It might help someone out.
  5. Y'know you can extract everything. I did and just have a regular sphax folder in my resource folder and it works just fine. I also did all the combining after extracting both zips. *shrug*
  6. All my kills came in 1.0.9. And I removed all my heart canisters and got myself hurt down to less than 10 hearts and I healed back up to 18 hearts. Should have only been 15 with Advanced Genetics. Maybe that's where the bug is.
  7. Yellow hearts drop every time from the wither. I've got 9 so far I think. But the recipe requires a red heart canister so I've only used one so far since I've only got 11 red hearts from drops. There could definitely be a bug though. I've got 10 base hearts, 10 red canister hearts, 5 Advanced Genetic hearts and 1 yellow canister heart. That should be 26 hearts total but I have 29 and I have no idea where the other 3 came from.
