  7. Oh great, now it's happening with the new launcher as well. Now for some reason I can't log in to the new one either. The minecraft website is up and both the old and new launcher are saying that they can't authenticate with Mincraft.net even though Minecraft website is up and I wrote my pass and user correctly.
  8. Thanks I was thinking that it could be the launcher itself cause I just got the old technic launcher and that it might not be able cause all my other launchers work, minecraft vanila, new techic launcher, FTB launcher and ATlauncher.
  9. So I'm logging in to the technic launcher, and it says (Unable to Authenticate account with Minecraft.net). What is this? I was using the old launcher.

I'm strongly considering making a modpack in 1.7.10 but I want to use Equivalent Exchange 2 which is still in 1.2.5, I wanted to download the mod in 1.2.5 and update it myself, do you think that I would be able to do it? I have eclipse and everything I need to write in Java. I have help from people to write in Java.
  12. I want to make some modpacks but unfortunatly, the modpack would contain Equivalent Exchange 2, which is still in 1.2.5. Is it possible to update the mod myself by downloading it and messing around with what I downloaded?
  13. I was wondering why isn't Voltz using any of the mods like electrical expansion or railcraft or alot of the mods it used in 1.4.7? I checked, they've all been updated to 1.6. and 1.7.
  14. The launcher takes up to 10 minutes to start, it's getting tedious. Any help?
  15. I know but alot of people including me like EE2 best. I know that this whole thing with the changes isn't the modpack authors fault, choice, or will. The real culprits are the mod authors, for abandoning their mods and those who took some of those mods and messed them up, those who frose their mods in an old version trying to make a new mod with the same principal but not finishing it or not working hard enough on it or barely doing anything with it and the ones who put scripts to mess things up if the mod detects it's in a certain pack and those who won't forgive them despite their sincire apology and repair on the mod.
  16. I have no idea how to make a modpack and even if I did, I wouldn't have the software or balls to download that stuff.
  17. That is how some people refer to tekkit in 1.1 they also refer to tekkit in 1.2.5 as tekkit 3 which is now tekkit classic. I don't know why they refer to it like that but whatever.
  18. Tekkit 2 is what is what yogscast played until tekkit 3 was out, Tekkit classic is Tekkit 3, the one without forestry. Tekkit 2 was a beta version in 1.1.
  19. There is no tracker for Technic ssp.
  20. The problem is, that I tried looking for a server via the search but it has a message saying that it doesn't know what I'm looking for that goes for tekkit classic and voltz. I can remove this if you want but I'll again highlight the fact that the search server thing for tekkit classic and voltz doesn't work.

Hi, I need to find a TEKKIT CLASSIC server that doesn't have any banned items, or restricted items or deleted mods or map resets and needs to be 24/7 so that I can start a new Tekkit series inspired by the "Tekkit with Duncan" series by Yogscast Duncan. If you have such a server please inform me.
  22. So I start up Technic pack and decide to load a world, it just remains at the loading chuncks screen and then closes. Any Ideas of what that might be? Also is there a way of getting Tekkit 2?

One of the biggest reasons to why I started this dicussion is because I don't want Technic pack, Tekkit classic (the actual tekkit) and voltz to become obscure references, as I have said before, they are the mod packs that made this launcher what it is today. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the new launcher and packs but I find it a shame that the Technic pack, tekkit classic and voltz are now getting forgotten.
  24. So Kakermix, and the Technic team is just letting Yogscast modify the ORIGINAL files? I would just copy everything and give them a copy of the files, not the original stuff. And I still think that the new launcher should still have Technic Pack on it.
