A hopper or even better a vaccuum hopper would do the trick.
But from my experience a grinder is still ok. You still get enough heads for some serious wither boss bashing.
-
And if you would now post in on the tracker (like it has been asked for so many times from so many people, that I still do not comprehend, why people still post such stuff here), then somebody will be gladly looking into your problem and help you out.

Yupp. There is a chunk corruption issue with the necromancy building and so most of the village generation is turned off for the time being and will most likely remain that way, since the Bioms of plenty guys don't really seem in the mood to do something about it.
Best way to get your hands on a villager is to buy them of minebay (5 diamonds), put them in a reuseable safari net and then throw em in a MFR autospawner.

Well generikb talked in one of his last videos of a new modpack which he started to design while he was on gamescon. probably (and this is only my speculation, since there is nothing official) this might be in 1.7, since when AOTBT came out most of the mods where switching over still.
and I guess also, since he has this new modpack in mind, we won't see an official AOTBT 1.7 version.
But this is is all just deduction from the little facts that are available yet.

difficult to say. i would say it should work, but have never tried it with b-team since my machine wouldn't cope with it properly.
One thing concerning the original problem. You can avoid the duplication by putting a double chest somewhere nearby, and after the minions have started working shift right click it with the staff in hand. The minions will then dump the stuff in this box. Since I have been using this method it never happened again that I suffered from the duplication bug.

yepp just so. but in the technic path on your machine.

probably a personal firewall issue. The TCP/IP stack handles requests to localhost differently then IP addresses. So depending on your PFW you can access localhost, but not the IP. To make it run via the IP you have to make the proper exception to forward traffic trhough your PFW on the necessary ports.

Easyly done. All it needs is all bonus modifiers and have everything except the blade made our of paper. Put a flux capacitator on it, drop a bunch of lapis and then quartz the hell out of it ... and welcome to your enemies worst nightmare.
Yet I still think that you should post it to a wiki and link it here only. The content disappears here rather fast, while a wiki is a far more stable plattform and easier accessable throug websearches.

I would use the command "/cofh killall item cobblestone" that usually will help and only remove the excessive cobblestone which is the usual event that triggers it when the minions have fossil fern in their backpacks (thats the usual explanation). The last time I had this problem it killed 40K Cobble that wa, but the rest was unharmed.

Even in a later stahe I make good use of the Smeltery. Granted I have my tools and stuff, but when it comes to villager smelting, as well as melting down stuff from my Darwin Mob Mutation Pit it comes in very handy.

hehehehe. we will see. In any case, we can go through comprehension problems on skype ... i noticed that I have often a knot in my brain where I am already for steps ahead thinking, while I am talking about something different *LOL* that sometimes results in awkward commentary.

yepp thats the one

Nice writeup, but don't you think that texts like this be kept in a wiki or something? In this forum they will sooner or later be overgrown by some of the most irrelevant junk that gets posted here half of the time.
What I have noticed:
- Cleaver:
you missed the natural beheading ability; not useful against players? Well you have never met my bonecrusher (42 Hearts Damage)
- Alumite:
it can mine Obsidian. otherwise it wouldn't be able to mine Cobalt and ardite, since they are on a higher mininglevel- Mining Netherores:
You do not need Alumite to do so. A pick made of Steel is sufficient.
- Manyullen:
its THE best ore for breaking blocks, though its not the fastest. The fastest ore itself is Cobalt which has a mining speed of 13
- lava crystal:
gives you auto smelt- another additional modifier:
it must have been added only recently, but using an enchanted golden apple along with a block diamond (thanks Hydreigon)

Hello everybody,
yesterday I have started my own Youtube channel with tutorials for "Attack of the B-Team". The tutorials are in german language and are intended for the german native speakers here, which have a hard time coping with english.
In the german language area its is lacking some tutorials to cover the various mods and I hope to close some of that gap with these tutorials.
So check out my Youtube Channel, or get in touch via Twitter.
See you around

Apart from that .... why should someone invite you? You should give an appropriate introduction and reason why you want to join and what you have to offer. With a post like that I would never invite you to our server (which I won't anyway, since being the only native english speaker between a group of germans wouldn't make sense anyways )

Is there still iron in the smeltery?
If so thats your problem. The iron is pumped to fast through the circuit and is in the smeltery before the next liquid can be pumped through it, resulting in an endless iron stream.I am using generikb's setup for my automatic smeltery which works like a charm:

There is one B-Team Ressourcepack which is available on the Sphax page (www.bdcraft.net). Its not complete but pretty good still.
You have to download the standard pack and patch it up with the corresponding patch on the forums. The patch is for 1.0.8 so its a bit outdated, but its the best I know.
There must be a version around which is used by the original B-Team Server, but I have yet to get my hands on it ... if it is available outside that group at all.
Regarding shaders I would ask Google for the usual way to install shaderpacks in 1.6.4 ... it will apply here as well. I haven't tried that since I am not sure whether my machine will survive that. I am using a 32x version of sphax and since I am heavily relying on carpenters and microblocks (aka the Keralis prettyfy syndrome) and have some framedrops because of them already.
-
Wrong audience. You should talk to bdubs and gennyb since they have the ultimate decision what gets into their pack and what not.
And of course the golem is right ;D
-
yepp issues like this belong to the tracker.
I am not sure, but it might be that the forge essentials are messing things up, since I guess they are most likely in the modpack already and changing the working version might cause the crash.
I would try making a clean bteam install and only using the mytown files added to the server and see whether it will fire up that way.

Basicly a server running on the LAN should be discovered when looking for games. One of the machines (or even better a dedicated server) must run a server version corresponding to your clientversions (most likely the current recommended build).
If these conditions are met, you can find the when looking for multiplayer games. If it doesn'ntr show up, make sure the server is running correctly and if it does look for a firewalll service on the server machine that is blocking the server port and make an exception to the ruleset that will allow the server to pass sending and receiving traffic through the firewall.
-
My solution was to use carpenters blocks, bash them into a standing slab and then put the glas over it. The textures won't connect anymore, but the result isn't that bad.
And alternative to try mit ght be to use microblock cover cut from blocks as windows. Might be a bit fiddely fuddley to put them in, but might actually work.

Nope. You need resonant ender for that. Liquid ender doesn't have the teleporting attributes.
-
they seem to spawn only at beaches. I have never seen them in land. But the basic biome on which the beach is located doesn't matter. I had them spawn on lavender island beaches, steppe beaches and forrest beaches.

yupp. Works nicely that way. You only have to research all the genes ones and then use the blood as multiplicator. We did that on our server and it saved a lot of time. Everytime someone caught a new mob, he processed the new gene and distributed updated syringes for the whole population of our server.
These extra syringes are also sensible when you are getting into the sync mod. The new shell will be a "vanilla" shell without the genetic enhancements. So an extra shot a day will keep the doctor away ;D
Server map download?
in Attack of the B-Team

Most providers offer an FTP access to the server for backup and patching purposes. So the owner is always able to backup the world.
If you are not the owner you contact that person and ask for a map download.
