Huh, well when I had the drain the 'normal' way like when being used for output it didn't work the liquids just collected and pooled itself in the channel and wouldn't go in until I turned the drain around and it worked just fine. I purposefully rotated the drain so it was backwards just so you know. Where you using fluiducts or channels?
  2. Okay So.. The images are kinda big b/c they are screen shots but whatever. Here is the image for my upper smeltery with the drain and faucet above the casting channels running to my second smeltery: And here is the image of the same casting channel line running to the reversed drain of my second smeltery: I tested it by hooking up a tank (in the name of time and energy) to the same line of channels with a faucet, ran some lava and it filled.
  3. I did do this when i posted and it worked in the newest version of ATBT. I don't know what version this wether its 1.09c or whatever it is. It worked just fine for simply transferring fluids from my first smeltery to my other smeltery. I took some snapshots of the process. I don't know how to post an image. Tell me how to do this or point me to the place where i can learn to post images and ill gladly show you the setup.
  4. Okay hold on a sec,It appeared as if the modpack was running fine. i tried creating a singleplayer world and it just froze with nothing on the the screen (except the dirt background). What does this mean? I also looked at the file "ForgeModLoader-client-0.log" and at the bottom it read, 2014-07-15 16:08:10 [iNFO] [ForgeModLoader] The state engine was in incorrect state PREINITIALIZATION and forced into state SERVER_STOPPED. Errors may have been discarded. 2014-07-15 16:13:25 [iNFO] [Minecraft-Server] Stopping server 2014-07-15 16:13:25 [iNFO] [Minecraft-Server] Saving players 2014-07-15 16:13:25 [iNFO] [Minecraft-Server] Saving worlds I hope it helps but i cannot figure out what this means or what i have to do to fix it. Okay so I ran the modpack to get the config, and then a screen popped up saying "Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation the mods and versions listed below could not be found SC0_SpaceCore : any the file 'ForgeModLoader-client-0.log' contains more information." What does this mean?
  6. Okay getting there... I went to the page in your link, went to MCF Mod List for 1.6.4 and re-downloaded all of the mods from the author's forums/websites. Triple checked most of the mods that they are in the correct version. Hopefully this time i can get the config.
  7. Casting Channels as Loader said cannot stop or start fluid from flowing, it just empties the smeltery. However Kalbintion is completely correct you can use a Faucet above to stop or start the flowing and a use for storage is best. I found that you can also use these channels to pour liquids into other smelters, by placing the Drain backwards you can simply connect the channel from another tank or smeltery into the storage smeltery. Say if you want to make electrum (or any another kind of alloy) you can have two tanks with faucets and channels leading into a smeltery, they combine and then you can create the ingots with the Casting Table. You can use these wisely to form slightly complex factories without the redstone (sort of). You just have to use a lot of channels and move around a lot to turn on and off the Faucets. I have only heard of the Fluiducts and haven't tried them seeing as i don't need them to use the Casting Table/Basin.
  8. My modpack will not run its mods. I attempted to local test the modpack to get the config files, The modpack was vannila and it didn't generate any config files.   9. Thank you. I will make the changes the best I can (I am not too good at this as you can tell). I did not know just where to put this thread, as it is in the completely wrong place I also hope an admin can move it. I do not understand what you meant by "locally testing the pack", do you mean running it in Minecraft or testing if it'll run in the Tekkit Launcher? How will I be able to tell if I have the right config/properly installed the mods in Tekkit? Do i need to 'install' the mods? If so how do I do this? I got all of the mods I plan to use in the "reboot" of the modpack from MinecraftForum.net, a place where you listed as one of the places to get the mods. On minecraftforum.net I believe I downloaded only the 1.6.4 versions, I will completely wipe the mods I have and get them anew. I tried to edit the modpack and remove Tropicraft. When I ran the modpack it wouldn't download as i have had such problems before, I can probably take care of that again. I am about to update Thanks again for your patience and help for my questions.
  10. So I started making a mod pack, got universal forge, gathered mods, bin and mods folder all in order, I compressed the bin and mods folder into a .zip and uploaded to Copy.com. Opened the mod pack up in the launcher and its vanilla. I know there are other posts out there that explain help for this but as I am reading I get completely lost. I researched the mods to check if they need anything other than forge and learned a little about Forge Mod-loader Do I need this? What does it do? How can I fix my mod pack so it will run?
