  1. I've just deleted the railcraft folder for now. The texture mishmash isn't causing many OCD ticks yet so all good til these guys look into it.
  2. From the best that I can tell the Railcraft track textures are borked in Tekkit. This texture pack works fine for Technic, but tracks appear as purple boxes in Tekkit. It looks like Tekkit isn't using the tracks.png file in the texture pack.
  3. Is anyone else having an issue with railcraft tracks showing up as the no-graphic pink square or am I doing something wrong?
  4. You could probably use CCSensors to read your Nuke's temperature and do an auto-off too. :)
  5. I meant to say I can't look at it until later tonight. Looking forward to your more complete release still.
  6. Don't worry about delays. Thanks for the texture pack so far it looks great. Can't wait to see JetStorm's release later tonight.
  7. Set up a cobble/snow ball farm and let it run in the the Q block the whole time you're doing other things and you'll end up with a ton of research.
  8. Its random. I've been messing around on creative. In my actual world I've gone through nearly 200 books and I haven't got it.. You could cheat and give yourself a notebook in creative mode to get all the symbols.
  9. Decay comes with dense ore worlds and become more unstable the more times you add that symbol. I did a world with 30 dense ore symbols it crumbled in just a few minutes, however there was more ore than stone on the world. If you're going to exploit worlds like this I would highly suggest a couple different strategies. Use EE tools like destruction catalyst to get as much as you can and link book back each time. Alchemical bags are great for carrying back tons of goodies. Build a platform that doesn't connect to any blocks below and set up a quarry. From what I've seen unconnected platforms will not decay. This is a safe method, but slow to set up. Its useful if you don't have any EE tools. Works better on low decay worlds I would suspect. Keep moving in a straight line. Only loaded chunks decay. If you can move fast enough you won't have to worry about decay.
  10. Keep in mind Dense Ore worlds constantly decay leaving a great chance all your shit will end up in the void.
  11. Are you going to be doing Thaumcraft items and blocks at all?
  12. If these are normal solar panels and not arrays you are probably losing all your EU to the cable before it can hit the battery you dip. http://technicpack.wikia.com/wiki/Cable You said you tried all types try ultra low voltage (tin) cables.
  13. Looks like he is using half-slabs to prevent spiders. Edit: My mistake I didn't wait til the end. I'll shut up now.
