Stop wasting time.

I did a search for this and couldn't find anything. I'm hoping it's not a bug and a simple fix on my end. On my server none of the jetpacks are working except the yellow one simply labeled jetpack. When I use the jetpack and I land it's either half my health gone or instant death. Not landing hard either. I tried landing as softly as I possibly could and at one point I instantly died when right before that I landed harder and only lost half my health. I hope this isn't how they're supposed to work normally. That would be horrible. Especially since when I ran 1.1.4 the jetpacks work just fine including landing. I know I'm supposed to post logs, but I'm not sure what exactly to post or where to find it specifically for this problem.

What server?

Did you change from Recipe Mode to Cheat Mode? You can set it to ALL, OP, or NONE.

Why did you use all caps?

You can turn the spawn area protection off.

He's just too good for us Windows users.

You just upload the Tekkit files to your server. You'll probabaly have to rename the Tekkit.jar. That's what Beastnode has you do.

Maybe you should give us more details. You mentioned FTP. So is someone hosting your server? If so, then use their directions on how to install mods. I use Beastnode. I had to upload the Tekkit Server.zip onto my server and rename the Tekkit.jar.

Poking fun at someone who has bad grammar is one thing, but I don't think this guy's first language is English. So it's understandable. If his first language is English...then continue on. lol

I read that the Essentials Protect is in emergency mode error is because it doesn't detect the Essentials core jar file. It's all there in the plugins folder. So I don't know why it's not working. :S *Edit* I downloaded 2.7.1 Essentials (older version) and it worked.

I'll try your way to see if it works. *Edit* I followed your steps. I set up PermissionsBukkit...copying yours. Then set up Essentials. It still gives me that Emergency error.

I just followed the essentials directions. I wanted it to work before I messed with permissions.

I took off CommandBook and put Essentials on my Tekkit server and it says Essentials Protect is in emergency mode. What am I doing wrong?

I might be interested. The time zone might make it difficult though so maybe not. Edit Yea nvm. The time zone would be too difficult.
