  1. I know you fixed your issue but what graphics card are you using? I think its AMD since I never see Nvidia having this problem.
  2. Sadly not but someone by the name plowmanplow on Technic forums made a list of websites that would work for Technic which is this url: https://www.circlecraft.info/hosts/ Thanks for reading!
  3. As I look at Technics modpack creation, I don't think there is a decrease. Now as I seen from being a modpack creator, its well in the middle between hard and easy. And for odd reason you can only use certain types of storage host, like Dropbox which does not make since why you can't use Google Drive even though any other modpack downloader would do that just fine. Well i'm getting off-topic here, just getting back to on-topic that modpack creators have to pay for storage to host there modpacks for one. Second is to fix bugs and glitches, and that's some hard work right there. Third is having to configure every mod to work with other mods, (No I'm not talking about Block IDS, just to make items work with other modded blocks). You do get wear down from doing all that hard work, doing people requests, (real life stuff), fixing bugs, etc... Also creating art work for your own modpack is simple instead of stealing artwork and not getting permissions, (I hate it when people have to steal hard work and not give credit). That's why a lot of people wouldn't want to work on two modpacks at once. Thanks for reading.
  4. If your using CustomMainMenu mod, it would be something like this: "exampleServerButton": { "text" : "Default Server!", "posX" : 0, "posY" : 0, "width" : 200, "height" : 20, "action" : { "type" : "connectToServer", "ip" : "0.0.0.0:25565" } } Something that goes like that.
  5. Its probably ram. How much ram are you giving Technic Launcher or how much ram do you have in your computer?
  6. That link just sends you to a 404 page or if the website is down.
  7. Did you ever try to give it more ram? It sounds like 2GB of ram isn't enough for the modpack you are running.
  8. Modpack is in Alpha as i'm still testing out stuff. If you find a bug you can post it in the comment section. This Modpack is based on the official Technic Modpack called Big Dig. This mod is for the Minecraft version 1.7.10. Also, I'm trying to include a lot of mods like how much "The 1.7.10 Pack" has. Modpack link is here: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/massive-dig.839883. Modpack Changes are now here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QZrlSPPUE2IKGzRlt0HAIIbhCzqtvQe3CW-6_idpQr0/pub
  9. I fixed it, I removed the https:// and removed the spaces in the file name which fixed it also.
  10. I fixed everything but still its having an error unzipping the zip. The mod works perfectly ok because I tried it out on MultiMC and there was no game breaking bugs. Is it because I can't compile to .zip with the WinRAR Archive? Edit: All ZIP archivers end up with the same result with Technic.
  11. This is what I only see in the modpack location url? I don't see circlecraft anywhere in the location. I assume if the technic saved circlecraft and also my dropbox url. But I will add the https://
  12. It says that there's an error in unzipping the file, I tried my dl link two different times like without the ?dl= first, then ?dl=1 but it didn't work. So I guess it was something with the forge but its the forge version as a lot of modpacks use so that couldn't be the case. I only have five mods which is: CoFHCore-[1.7.10]3.1.2-325.jar ComputerCraft1.75.jar NotEnoughItems-1.7.10-1.0.5.118-universal.jar TConstruct-1.7.10-1.8.8.jar ThermalExpansion-[1.7.10]4.1.2-240.jar So I don't know what I'm messing up on here? Thanks for reading! My modpack API: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/massive-dig
  13. Thanks! I may try some of them out but if you used Google Sites (free) with Google Drive, I think you could get a direct link. I will try that out. You can link Google Drive with Google sites but you can't get direct link, only if you upload your file to Google sites, then I think you could get a direct link. EDIT: I'm going to use dropbox until I run out of space.
  14. Do you have Java installed on to your system? You can try to run Technic Launcher as Administration, right click and run as administrator. It doesn't matter if your administrator or not on Windows 10. I'm running Windows 10 and I have no problems with Technic at all. Also if you are running an antivirus, try to make sure its not blocking Technic. I have the latest 64 bit edition of Java so you might be running an older edition of Java.
  15. Hello for who ever is reading this! I'm not sure if this the right place to post in but I was wondering if there's any alternative than Dropbox. It has limited space and I'm not paying for it. I try to use Github but it just installs inside of my modpack. Is there anything that supports Direct Link, Free and was tested.
  16. This is my first comment or post but yea I would have to agree that those type of modpacks have been flooding the search and discover area. I mean some of those are just the same and POKEMON packs are just the same, there is like hundreds of them. I would supposed to be like what you said 3 or 4 types but there's more than that. Technic allows people to upload all types of modpacks, (if they don't break the TOS or Rules). So if they did remove a lot of the same modpacks, a lot of the community would start to complain about it (I guess?). That's all I can say.
