Bug Type- Solder or In-Game, can't actually tell. Photos- http://imgur.com/a/kODia Reproduction Rate- 10/10, pack is unplayable. Steps to reproduce- Launched pack. Expected result- Minecraft splash text screen Observed result- The scrolling background for the splash text screen is confined to the lower-left corner of the screen. Audio works, and the buttons still seem to have the hitboxes in the same places, (I clicked where one would be and heard the sound) but I can't interact with anything beyond that. Logs- The game does not crash, but remains open, and therefore does not generate a crash log. I have, however, provided a screenshot of the moment the error occurs, logged via the "show console" option in the "Photos" segment. Comments- From what I can tell, Optifine isn't working correctly. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to fix it. 1.6 packs, even the 1.6 version of the same pack (which includes Optifine) work fine, as does 1.8 vanilla loaded via the Technic launcher.

I will try to make my way up this daunting tower when it is ready. Are there going to be rules for what you can break in the entire world or only in the tower?

I've played on numerous servers and constructed cities, towns, schools, and factories of all sorts. I can see problems with this. You see, Tekkit is designed for automation. The entire idea of it is to make factories to do your work for you. With Jobs, the idea is specialization of labor. But in Tekkit, what labor? Mining is just a necessary start, and no longer something to continue throughout your time in a server. Why farm when you can automate it? The economy will become based around crafted goods, with factories mass producing anything you want. Basically, if you are playing Tekkit right, you won't need Jobs at all. Each entrepreneur will create his/her own.

This has been an issue for a while. If you look at the tekkit bug board there are several people having the same difficulties. I don't think it's the launcher or the authentication server personally, but that leaves very few things it could possibly be. Regardless, the Technic team has been pretty quiet about this, so I can only think that they are working hard towards a solution before they post any possibly misleading info.

And that is why I do some other form of energy. Solar, water, geothermal in the nether, wind in the End. Another painful experience (keeping it on topic)- holding an RM Morningstar and missing my chest when I right clicked. House? What house?

Erm... I'm pretty sure they mean most painful tekkit experience. That does sound painful, though.

When I find 44 stacks of diamond blocks in my base and have to dispose of them all because one of my mining buddies hacked them in.

There are several parts of IC2 that don't appear in the NEI interface, usually the alcoholic beverages and the seeds, probably because the metadata would clog the system if it showed all of the thousands of seed packet combinations. This could be your issue, and if it is, try crossbreeding the plants and brewing the alcohol the survival way.

Is EE disabled? I'd like to know before I commit to a whitelist server. And also, your website says it has no forums. It seems odd to register for a forum area with no forums in it.
