I can't speak for them but I would assume that they do it because they enjoy this community and want to see it flourish (that and the lols). Yep because everyone has this issue and no one know how to fix it... Why would downloading an earlier version of the Launcher then updating it help at all? Blaming the "owners" is probably one of the reasons you have a pink name...

I did PM Cheap with some changes to it but I suspect he just deleted it thinking I was another idiot PMing for help. I still have the changes though some are now outdated. I would be happy to help in updating it.

Actually Usma has provided the solution which you tried to take credit for... As for your issue with the mods, people like you are some of the reasons the mods don't want to be nice. They pay for the site hosting and all development and associated costs out of their own pocket and they don't even accept donations. The moderators take their free time to deal with ungrateful people like you and don't get so much as a thank you. Think about it.

Simple mistake, for future reference, if you can actually get into the game and past the login screen, it is an issue with the modpack.

The reason I have't come up with a solution that hasn't been suggested is because the ones that have been suggested have been working. All you have done is whine about how you are being mistreated instead of taking intiative to make a bug report and be patient enough to wait for someone to help you.
